I normally don’t write reviews, but decided to make this one more like a tutorial then review.My mechanic guy called me and asked to take back “This PoS and don’t bring it back to him”, so I came over to his shop and we figured it our quite immediately (I don’t know it it’s something to do with his personal hate for Chinese parts, Chinese instruction or my IT logical brain). I liked the way someone said in review “it requires some patience and creativity”. So here we do.Fists off. Of you can remove all skid plates and moldings without lift - you can continue to read. I recommend use lift to install these boards 100 percent.Instruction is horrible. It’s literally in Chinese, so you have to pretend that there is no instructions.Taking off skid plates and side moldings is most time consuming part. Finding right holes for the mounts is super easy. You may need a little tiny hammer push on the rear bolts, to insert them thru those holes, it’s super tight. Screw brackets in, and then use 8 black square metal pieces (not even mentioned in package content) with long M8 bolts to secure the sides of the bracket, preventing them to move much (you need to see where the little holes on the sides of the bracket meets the car body metal, and tie it together with those black pieces. That’s where your creativity starts. Then slightly push running boards between your door panels and those brackets you just mounted. It super tight, so you need to come with 30-45° angle. Then light the boards the way you like it and secure it with short m8 bolts.Then, the trickiest part. You need to cut original moldings and leave only about 12-16 inches of front part, as it used to secure your fender insert, mud flaps and skids. We cut it the way we can use all four front screws to tie it back in, and disposed remaining ~5 foot part. There is no way you can stick original molding back in. Then mounting back skid plates will leave you a few unused screws, from that disposed part.But the boards, price, shipping is excellent. Looks super good, so SQ7-ish. They are light, fairly solid (i’m 250lb and could stay on them fully). Kids found it to be way easier to get in and out the car, which solves the purpose. I found the boards to be super attractive and aggressive.Recommendation for a factory. Find professional translator on Fiverr or something, don’t hesitate to take more pictures, even in color, and include new instruction to your shipments. It’s worth people’s time.5 stars.

Product looks great on my SUV. Took some time to install it, plan for 2-3 hrs on each side. Instructions are for another running board so don't follow it to closely. Better to just watch a few Youtube videos and improvise on your own. Remember to use a torque wrench to tighten otherwise you won't be able to tighten it correctly. I've contacted them a couple times for better directions and questions but they don't seem to know what they're talking about. Don't bother contacting seller on how to install, they've probably never installed this before on their Audi 2016-2019 so they're guidance is of no use. If you have a auto mechanic friend, their help will be best.

Amazon home service shown $200.00 for install this running board. After the technicians of auto repair shop took apart running board and underhood of Q7 they wanted me $220.00 more cause they need more time to install.I couldn't help stopping this job cause they already took apart this running board and my brand new Q7. I accepted to pay total $420.00 for installation . 10 days later, after car wash, I found rubber seal of running board was not fitted firmly . I want back to shop to complain this thing . They said It's not exactly fitted to 2019 audi Q7 and rubber seal is not important to use.They recommended to take out it . I'd like to say for whom may consider to purchase this board rubber seal came with this running board couldn't be firmly attached with under the door.

The photo clearly shows an Audi logo on them. The ones I received do not have them. With so many screws and bolts, why wouldn’t they automatically furnish instructions for installation. The other reviews note that when they requested them, they came in Chinese. That does not help.
