Genius 10 - it really is a smart charger!
2 years ago, I bought the NOCO GENIUS 5. I liked it and used it often on my 2013 Ford Escape. However, recently I let my battery dropped too low for the Genius 5 to power it up. The Ford Escape - if the battery drops too low for a period of time, then the fuel pump needs to be powered up too. The "5" just wasn't strong enough for my Escape. So, I bought the 10! It was able to get my battery charged (and it made the fuel pump happy too) and did so quicker than anticipated. I've learned that I need to keep the Genius connected all allow the maintenance mode to keep my battery ready to go. I also learned that the 2013 Ford Escape has a "dedicated jump start negative post" so that it's easier to hook up the black charge. The 2013 Escape battery is partly under the dash and the negative battery terminal is very hard to reach. I am not a car expert, quite the opposite. And I can easily hook up the Genius Chargers —they are really a smart Charger! Once the Red is connected and the black clip is on the negative post, I plug in the charger. The charger automatically reads my battery and sets the charger. If the battery is too far gone, there is a symbol that will light. As the battery charges the lights will change until you see the solid green light letting you know it's been fully charged. You can leave it plugged in the maintenance mode or unplug it. It will never over charge the battery as it has built in safety features! I highly recommend the Genius Chargers, especially if you have vehicles that you don't drive often.

Worked Exactly as Advertised and did a wonderful job of charging my Jeep's Battery
I recently tried out the NOCO Genius10 Smart Battery Charger on my Jeep Rubicon, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed. Since I live in a townhouse, I powered it up using my Jackery Power Station, which made it super convenient—no need for a long extension cord or anything like that. It took about three hours to bring my Jeep’s battery from roughly 40% up to about 90%, which is pretty much exactly as advertised. Overall, it was really easy to use and did exactly what it promised, so I’m definitely happy with it. Updated 11/29 I have to say. This is by far one of the best products I have used in a long time. It just WORKS. And just as the Manu said it would. It's sad that I even have ot say this but that shows you the state of consumer products. NOCO really hit this out of the park with ease of use, reliability and hardware. It reminds me of Apple Hardware with the build quality. This is being used with my 23 Rubicon. Its not my daily driver - I normally use it when I have a drone contract and am out in the middle of nowhere. So, the battery does not get fully charged and sits quite a lot. I purchased the "NOCO GC008 X-Connect M10 XL Eyelet Terminal Accessory" instead of using the Terminal clips. For a Jeep, I have to unlock the hood latches, open the hood, connect the clips and then close the hood until its charged. Without a garage this can be a headache with weather. The Eyelets solve the problem. I ran a 14Guage wire from the battery to the floor inside the cab. This way the cable is always connected and all I have to do is plop the Power Station on the seat and plug in the Genius 10. I had a chance to try out the system today and wow, talk about easy. This is truly a life saver and knowing my battery is topped off and maintained makes all the difference for me. --NOCO now has a customer for life. --

Powerful, smart, and incredibly easy to use
The NOCO GENIUS 10 is hands-down one of the best battery chargers I’ve owned. It’s compact but seriously powerful, and the 10A charge brings batteries back to life much faster than my old charger. I’ve used it on both 6V and 12V batteries, and it automatically detects and charges exactly as it should no guesswork at all. I especially love the smart maintenance and trickle mode. Once the battery is charged, it switches automatically to maintain it, so I can leave it connected without worrying about overcharging. The display is clear, setup is simple, and the build quality feels solid and durable. Whether you’re maintaining a car, motorcycle, boat, or lawn equipment, this charger just works. Reliable, efficient, and absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend!

Nice charger that can be used with multiple battery types
Nice compact unit and easy to use once you understand how to. The negative first and I took a star off for the following. It comes with a terrible instruction manual. The manual that comes in the box is ineffective on describing how to use the charger and the text font is almost microscopic. What is the secret and in these modern times how hard is it to manufacture a manual with color photos? I found a good web site that describes how to use the GENIUS10. I am using this charger on a aircraft battery and the charger topped it off followed by trickle mode. The charge speed was quite quick. I like how many types of batteries this charger can work with. I also like that it has a repair mode and can be used as a 12 volt power supply. I am using the GENIUS10 to power a 12 volt tire pump instead of hooking the pump to my truck's battery. There is no noticeable noise from the charger when in use.

Saved me from buying a new battery!
EDIT 2/26/24: I am now the blocks "AAA". Been helping people start their cars when jump starts with cables have not worked. Definitely handy to get other people out of an otherwise expensive pinch. I have a car battery that I purchased around 2016 (date of review 1/3/24). The car itself does not get driven much, at most 2-3 times a week no longer than 15 minutes one way. Throughout the years I've drained it by leaving the car lights on. Its always required a jump start after that to get going again. Recently I've been an idiot and been leaving my lights on more frequently. Eventually it required me to jump start everytime I wanted to turn on the car. It was becoming a hassle and I was about to call it quits and purchase a new battery until I came across Project Farm's review on battery chargers. This was at the top of the list so I figured to give it a shot. I was not disappointed! I charged it for 4 days straight, put it in my car, and it started right up. Not surprised considering it was just charged but the real test laid ahead. I was going to be out of town for two weeks and leave the car sitting. I came back two weeks later and the car started up, no hesitation whatsoever, as if it was a different battery! The NOCO Genius 10 saved me about $150-200 at least in a brand new battery. On top of that, I can now use it for other batteries in the event of any similar issues. The instructions on the other hand are a bit confusing and had to rely on YouTube comments to piece it together. For those who are confused at what to do, I did not do a 12V repair (function which this unit has) as it requires the battery to be completely charged first. All I did was charge it straight for 4 days uninterrupted. When first put on battery to the charger it will be in standby mode. You push (or hold depending on what you need) the MODE button to select your desired option. I was charging a lead acid battery so I selected 12V. The meter at the top slowly advanceD from each of the four bars until the final bar was pulsing green which indicates its charging to full (over 80% I believe). The green charging light continued to slowly pulse even on the 4th day but I took a gamble and disconnected it from the battery. For the battery to be 100% charged, the green light should stay solid. That means my battery worked 2 weeks later after sitting and it wasn't even at 100%. The unit can also force a charge on batteries that are extremely under voltage. Thats a separate setting that I haven't had to use yet. It can also charge AGM and Lithium but I believe the 12V repair function is only for lead acid. Unfortunately I had to go through 3 separate orders because the first two were from Amazon Warehouse and I encountered issues with both, consecutively. I ended up getting frustrated and just purchased a brand new charger. Pros: Solid build quality Excellent cable connections with weather covers Compatible with a wide variety of batteries Repair and Force charge batteries Cons: Poor instructions Charge is slow BUT I think thats how these chargers work TL;DR Try this first before rushing to get a new battery it is a good investment that can save you a lot of money

This battery charger is great.
I have been amazed and very pleased with this item. It has several features built in which make it virtually goof-proof. If you hook up your leads wrong, it ceases electric current flow and tells you what you did wrong. It not only charges your vehicle battery, it repairs it, removing unwanted chemical build up inside the battery. It charged my vehicle's battery quickly and easily. By supplying 10 Amps of power to your battery, give this product serious consideration. I love it.

The Only Charger You Need: NOCO Saved Me $2,000 and Weeks of Waiting!
I cannot recommend the NOCO Genius10 enough. After a truly awful experience with an expensive, useless charger (the JMR), the NOCO was an absolute lifesaver for my 2022 Porsche Cayenne. My car has a specialized Lithium (Li-ion) battery, which can be difficult to charge with standard equipment. The worst part? The dealer quoted me $2,000 to replace the dead battery, and because it was a special order, the part was on a 4-6 week back order! I was looking at a massive bill and weeks without my car. The overpriced competitor (JMR) completely failed to charge or repair my battery—even after days of being plugged in. The NOCO Genius10, however, handled the challenge with ease. It has modes to work with multiple battery types, including Lithium, Lead-Acid, AGM, and Marine, and successfully not only fully charged the battery but also successfully repaired it! This charger is proof that you don't have to spend a fortune to get top-tier performance. For less than half the price of the faulty unit I initially bought (it cost me around $80), the NOCO is incredibly versatile. In addition to its multi-chemistry capability, it serves perfectly as a trickle maintainer. This is ideal for keeping the battery topped up and healthy during the times my Porsche is parked in the garage for several days. Stop searching and buy the NOCO Genius10. It's affordable, reliable, and actually works on tough-to-charge batteries like Lithium. This brilliant piece of engineering saved me $2,000 and weeks of waiting!
