Much better than low star reviews would suggest
Product works well. I was a bit put off by the reviews as they stated there was a problem with the position of the controls where they can be touched during use. This is true, but it is not a major issue and if they are touched they can easily be reset. The webpage also had a warning that this was a regularly returned item. I can only imagine that returns are due to people not reading the instructions, where it is clearly stated that one needs to put a drop of water on to the sensor to see it is working.

Good length power cord
I have had Ultra sound treatment in the past for my back and heel spurs. It has worked so well and what a relief when you have been in pain for so long waiting for a physio appointment. I suffer with plantar fasciitis and the pain now seems to cover the whole foot. I am on the nhs waiting list to be seen by the consultant who treated the heel spurs years ago but have been waiting months and have been told its a long wait. And you bet I will need a physo appointment and Ultrasound treatment, so it will be back to waiting for the next appointment again. Well to me it makes sense to purchase The Med-Fit Pro Ultrasound. At such an affordable price its worth saving for. When reading reviews my decision was made because of the longer length cable. I want to be able to use it myself and not have to worry about trouble reaching the area being treated. It also came with a 150ml tube of PolarFrost, I normally use ice packs on my back and never though of trying a cold gel before. Yesterday I used the Polar Gel before I headed off out and WoW you can feel it working alright. Just perfect, it sorted my back for me while allowing me to carry on with my busy day. Normally I would have to wait to get back home to use the ice packs for pain relief. I am so happy I purchased this item.

Med-Fit UT1032 for TUS of PFC
I bought this to experiment with TUS (transcranial ultrasound stimulation) targeting PFC (prefrontal cortex). OMG. I was looking for a UK brand certified version of the "US Pro 2000" and this model has identical specs made by the same OEM. Although the Amazon page shows a video of a different discontinued ultrasound device by Med-Fit (the "2020" UT1053), the item I received is the Med-Fit UT1032. According to the manual the lowest setting delivers 0.32W±20% of 1MHz ultrasound. I know I paid a premium for Med-Fit brand but since it is a medical device I did not want to take the risk with cheap clones with unknown cost cutting, or trying to import aforementioned from the US. The UT1032 has built-in load sensing which should help transducer life. It came in a box with its own black zip up padded case containing manuals, power adapter and small 80g tube of aqueous gel. It's straightforward to use and pack away owing to the cutout foam sections. This isn't really a device you just throw into a bag. I would strongly recommend reading the manual before purchasing, however, as there are a lot of contraindications and precautions listed; used incorrectly can be harmful. So onto my off-label use. I hear a faint buzzing when using the device on lowest setting on my forehead. Next time I might try the pre-heating feature. It is nothing like the cold medical ultrasounds I received, probably because I am controlling the device in the comfort of my own home on non-intimate part of my body. In my researching of suitable handheld low-intensity ultrasound devices I came across a few different designs some of which were rechargeable but all appear to be discontinued, with fussy little screens and/or less ergonomic with exception of the recent 3 MHz Ultraform meant for youth-anizing facial skin. In current era of everything being cordless and rechargeable, I would prefer it being cordless and rechargeable but the pigtail and power adapter doesn't really inhibit my usage and the wand feels comfortable to hold especially as you need to keep it moving whilst in use and the added weight of a battery could be unwelcome. Uncomplicated it is, except for the 'hidden' press both Time + Mode buttons to disable warming feature. I don't mind; I have a Dymo. The green indicators are easy to see and parse without being obnoxiously bright, and the buttons have positive click action so I don't think I will accidentally change the setting whilst in use. The case feels a teensy little bit big; I would have preferred a hard shell case but this would add to the weight.

Massively reduces pain
I really like this device for the fact that it has reduced my pain from 100% ( extreme pain) down to 20% ( low pain) and even days as low as 5%( barely noticeable pain). I bought this on word of mouth from relatives advising me to get an ultrasound therapeutic device. I was very sceptical about the device as I’m only a 33 year old male and never bought or had the need for one of these before in my life, but wow what a relief. The other reason to why I bought this is because hospitals are in lockdown ( as of the time I have written this review(Jan/2021) and therefore needed something to relieve me of my pain when I slept and throughout the day. Things a like: • 3 pin socket for UK plugs • difference settings on the device: low, medium & high. • pause/start to allow you to add more gel • ultrasonic Gel provided. • pain relief Gell Gift. Overall I’m very impressed. Check out my video for an in-depth overview. If you have difficulty hearing, I have not left anything out from my written review. Note: •don’t stay too Long on one spot or you could burn the bone as I have been told, rather go slowly round and round in circles. This is only personal advice and I am no medic and therefore not held responsible for this personal advice. Please read the manual for proper use. • I don’t know what Is causing my pain until I get a diagnosis from the hospital. Update: 6/ February/2021 I was able to get a consultation with my GP doctor at the NHS via a phone call. My medical condition is called: ( Ganglion cyst ). The device is so good that I barely use it now.
