Cole Haan Men's Button Up Wool Plush Car Coat

My husband desperately needed a new coat, his old coat was so raggedy and worn out! There aren't any shopping malls near us and fewer stores that sell quality men's clothing. Besides that there's a hassle of driving, parking, and finding help. So we turned to Amazon again! My husband tried several coats and this one was the winner. It is warm and styled beautifully. The other coats looked like he was wearing wool bag and the buttons were difficult for him to work with his painful fingers. This Cole Haan Men's Wool Plush Car Coat has very nive trimming in the back that gives it a much better fit and look. Also, my husband was able to more easily button and unbutton this coat even with his arthritic hands. The others were not that way. The look and feel of this coat is beautiful and he does not even have to alter the sleeves. We are so glad we found this on Amazon. We recommended and would definitely buy it again.

I very rarely write reviews on amazon purchases, but I was so happy with this coat I just had to leave one. This is a very nice looking coat. Cole Haan is more known for their shoes so I was a little skeptical at first, but with a sale price under $100 it was worth a risk. Couldn't be more happy. The coat has a nice weight to it without being too bulky. Its nice and soft with a nice lining. Length is great for someone that doesn't want to deal with a full top coat, but wants something longer than a standard peacoat. The pockets come sewn shut but are easy to open up with some scissors. Have not had a chance to wear it outside yet, but when trying it on it warmed my up quickly.

Great coat, but dang. First order came as expected, but the wrong size. I’m XL, but received a S, not my mistake. Returned and received the XL. Just take a look at the picture, this must have been returned by someone else and then thrown around by the guys in the warehouse. I’m keeping the coat because I love the style and the great sale price, but dang, I should’ve have to clean it when received.

I bought this for a trip up to NYC as I knew it was going to be colder than usual and quite snowy and I was quite pleased! Genuinely kept me very warm and shielded from even the most brutal winds. It also looks great, with the length and fit being perfect. I even received some compliments on how nice it looked! I think this was a quality buy - would purchase again!

This coat is incredibly warm, stylish, and fit pretty much exactly as expected. I am currently losing weight, and wear somewhere between a large and extra large. I ordered an extra large to be on the safe side, and it fits very well, albeit a bit loosely in the abdomen. If you have broader shoulders like I do, you may also notice that it is a tiny bit snug there as well, though not outrageously so. It's incredibly warm without ever feeling too heavy or suffocating like some coats do. While I never feel any cold air leaking into the coat, I also never feel myself beginning to sweat or overheat, even while wearing it in a car or while walking to my office. The inner lining does not seem like it would be as insulating as it is, but it really is great quality. My one complaint would be that, at MSRP, this is a pretty expensive coat. I bought it on Black Friday for ~$80, which is a steal. Definitely consider buying this if you need a nice coat without a budget; if you are on a budge, wait for a deal like mine.

I’m a little too short now that I’ve shrunk as I’ve gotten an older period to wear a full topcoat. Therefore, I bought this one. Which is Car coat length. Several reviewssaid it ran big so I ordered the small. That was a mistake. I could barely button it and there was no way I was putting a sport jacket on under it. Exchanged it for the medium. The sleeves did run a little long, took the coat to the tailors to have them shortened. The coat is superb. Tailored warm, comfortable and the color is excellent.

It’s a 60% wool coat, very heavy, and well made. I bought it for less than $100, and that’s a bargain these days for a coat with that much percentage of wool. Yes, it can be better, with more wool, lighter filler like goose down, but then it would be priced more, and harder to find. The size is a little on the bigger side but not much. I’m 5’7”, 140 lbs and the small size I bought is slightly bigger for me with just a shirt on. It maybe just right if I add a sweater.

Let me start by saying this is a great looking coat and the small fit me very well, with the exception of the sleeves being a little long. My huge problem with this coat is that the pockets are fake so you can’t put your hands in your pockets. That is a dealbreaker for me and therefore this only gets one star. Who makes a winter coat with no pockets to put your hands in? Ridiculous!

I am very happy with this purchase! I am 5'8" and 181 pounds with a 42 inch chest. The medium size fits me perfectly. The coat is beautiful and feels high quality. It says to only dry clean. I washed it on gentle cycle with cold water, and used Woolite extra delicates care as the detergent. I then laid it out flat to dry (do not use heat of any kind to wash or dry the coat). It turned out great wish a machine wash as specified.
