YETI Boomer 4, Stainless Steel, Non-Slip Dog Bowl, Holds 32 Ounces

At first $40 for a dog bowl seemed expensive, but then I thought about how I replaced my last dogs bowl 5x throughout her life (basic metal bowls get gross and rust even with routine cleaning). So I figured 5 bowls at $6 a bowl already got me 3/4 of the way to this one.With that being said, it’s solid, well built, hard to tip or move due to the weight and rubber ring on the bottom, easy to clean, looks great, and keeps water cold longer. The thing is basically indestructible and very durable. 32oz is about the most you can fit so if you have a bigger dog I’d size up to the next size.So while it seems expensive, it’s very well made and will last a lifetime without needing replacement. I don’t regret spending extra one bit.

After purchasing a few different dog bowls, which I wasn’t very happy with, I decided to spend the money on the Yeti 4oz Dog Bowl. I wanted an extra water bowl and opted for the 4oz as a companion to the 8oz bowl I already had. These are quality bowls well made with a hefty weight. Even though they are dishwasher safe I prefer to wash them by hand. They are very easy to clean and I appreciate the fact that the stainless steel interior keeps my pup’s water cool throughout the day. I personally feel these are definitely worth the Yeti price tag!

I was hesitant to spend this much on a dog bowl but I live in a hot climate and it's been great. It's big but not too big and is perfect for my 2 dogs. Also easy to clean and the color is pretty.

My former metal bowls began to take on a slimy residue that was becoming more and more difficult to remove when hand washing. I had read how over time, the metal can also break down or leach into the food. Prolly not too big a concern but I didn't want to risk it. What I did not realize, but Yeti knows dogs require a more shallow open space for their snouts. By comparison to our old bowls, the Yeti's are taller, more robust stature is actually wider in the Boomer 4 giving pups more space for their nose. These bowls are super easy to mix food in, albeit shallow so sometimes the kibble escapes when mixing, but clean up is also easy peasy with zero food stick. My pup Jed would chew/lick the metal bowls for 10 minutes but since the Yeti is so thick and weighted, he no longer is interested in that - a nice bonus of having so much heft. On the elevated feeder for my senior GOLPP girl Libbi, the rubber bottom keeps the bowl planted. Already planning on the teal Boomer 8 for their water bowl b/c they are that good. Wish they came in cat bowl sizes too. Only con is having not gotten them sooner.

My dog likes to dump out his food/water when he’s bored. This bowl is nice and sturdy, and had some good weight on the bottom to deter him from doing this! There’s been much less spilling, and no dumping since we’ve switched to this bowl.

I will always love yeti! Is it a bit steep? Yes but you get what you pay for! Dogs don’t make a mess. The bowl stays put so it’s easy for my dogs to eat out of instead of having to chase bowls all throughout the kitchen. They are easy to clean and they stay clean better than the cheap ones and they don’t get that slimy film on them that the cheap ones do and no matter how many times I wash it in the dishwasher it stays true to its color and design. I also like the fact that they’re easier to stack and put away when they’re done eating.

Great find, definitely on the expensive end but worth it for a good brand, high quality and keeps water cool. Have noticed my dog drinking more.

Well worth the money. You won't regret it. I have 3 dogs and feed them raw. These dishes are easy to clean & strong.
