Master Lock 719D Steel Cable with Integrated Outdoor Padlock with Key, 1 Pack

Had the idea to use one of my pistol locks to secure my new LS2 full face helmet with quick release buckle to my Road Glide sissy bar, but they are too short at 14 inches long. I looked at a lot of different locks that would serve my purpose, including a lot of those tightly wound curly-cue cable locks with the inline lock tumbler. Those just look so dainty to me, and I wanted something more robust to better deter a would-be thief that did not happen to have a bolt cutter on him. This Master Lock cable lock is just the ticket. Operates just like a gun lock, but with a perfect length and a more robust cable that I doubt could be defeated with a common side-cutters. I realize that these locks only keep honest people honest, and a thief with the right equipment could easily defeat it. The wire cable is protected with a clear, thick plastic sleeve, and the bottom of the small lock is protected with a wraparound plastic piece. The bulk of the lock itself though would be better if it was covered with the same clear plastic as on the cable. Reason being is that if it happens to bump your painted surfaces there is less of a chance it would scratch or damage them. Anyway, this lock is easy to stash and easy to apply providing a bit of peace-of-mind while at a rally, bike night, or cafe. Highly recommended.

Not a whole lot to say. Solid built. Keeps my valuable stuff protected when I'm not near my RZR while on the trails! Very satisfied with this purchase.

I have a Yamaha XMax 300 and sometimes the under-seat storage box is full of my stuff, leaving no room for me to safely lock my helmet away. Those times I rely on this lock/cable set to secure my helmet to my bike. It's really perfect for any helmet that's full-face or has a D-Ring type strap (the thin cable fits through either). Plus, it takes up hardly any space in the storage compartment. Works good. Quality is good. Master Locks have been around forever, and they're still a good buy that will last a long time.

I bought this to keep anyone from stealing my carbon fiber pool pole from out of the back of my truck. Works great. Latches well. Key turns easy.

It says "outdoor" but skeptical about durability. I'll be blasting it with anti-corrosives and lubricants to make sure I can remove it when needed.
