Scruffs Switchback Safety Boots and Boot Socks

Only had the boots for a couple of weeks and now the rubber sole is starting to come off.

My best safety boots so far. The leather feels soft to the touch, I hope it won't rip after a few months. I use it extensively, there is almost no extra sweating, which is very good. The nose seems to be only glued to the sole, not sawn like the side. I'm worried about how sturdy it is going to be, but it's the best quality, most comfortable safety boots I've ever had.Considering the extensive usage, I would say if the glue/material/seam still holds after six months, it was worth the somewhat high price.Update: well, after a month, the glue on the front of the left shoe is already stopped holding. This is why you sew the sole to th rest of the shoe instead of using glue. This shoe is not good for heavy work. It's good enough for when you required to wear safety boots, and want to look stylish, but doesn't actually have to do any heavy work, move heavy loads.

I can't praise these boots enough.I am an Electrical Test Engineer and I can quite often cover several miles per day, walking through building sites, climbing towers etc for the purpose of commissioning Electrical Equipment. This work will quite often involve low level inspections, so I'm constantly getting onto hands and knees then back to the installation supply, rinse then repeat.The sole shows very little signs of wear and most importantly, the comfort is astonishing. I stepped out of a lift on site the other day, and as my heal hit the ground, I panicked as I thought I still had my trainers on. They are so comfortable I don't even bother bringing trainers to go home in anymore.I suffered nearly 9 months of "plantar fasciitis" I assume from wearing I'll fitting work boots prior to these, I wish I'd found these sooner.I'm definitely buying another pair when these are worn through.

The boot is very comfy and warm (in winter months) great for casual on site workingThe soul has come away from the right boot already which is annoying (don’t expect that from a brand boot) and on the left boot the seem stitch has broken and lets water in.All in all don’t bother with this find another boot

Absolutely amazing, waterproof, really comfortable, I'm a cleaner do loads of walking around a powerstation there amazing don't listen to bad reviews these are just pure perfect the socks go really well with these boots well any socks do most comfortable work boots I've ever owned 😀😀 would defo buy again, delivery was really fast to thank you so much for them worth every penny, just like wearing a pair of comfortable trainers, I got sore feet really easy but these stopped me getting pain on my little toes amazing 100% perfect 😝

HiThis is nothing against the seller.I have had these boots just over a month and have been wearing them for a couple of weeks.I’m a big scruffs fan. I have bought many safety shoes and clothing.I ordered a 9 and they are slightly bigger than the size 9’s that I wear.They are well padded and look the part.Slightly heavier than I hoped.The biggest disappointment is they have a tair in the top of the boot near my toe.I’m a courier and I usually get about 9 months use out of my shoes.I’m a bit disappointed, I shall be sticking with what I know.

Although these boots are lightweight and extremely comfortable, they began to split apart at the stitched seams 6-7 months from purchase.I would have given them 5 stars if they lasted closer to a year.edit; After considering the comfort per price I have raised this from a 3 to a 4 starI have since bought a different style of scruffs boots hopefully retaining the comfort while being slightly more robust

One star review so far due to the first pair the insole on one boot wasn't stuck down properly leaving a ridge which would have driven me crazy if I'd used them, then the second pair delivered had obviously been used, dirt and wear on the sole and the laces were badly frayed.
