Cortas Pomegranate Molasses, 10 oz - PACK OF 2

Cortas is the gold standard of pomegranate molasses. The 2 bottles came carefully wrapped, and I am so glad to have these stocked up for making muhamarra and all kinds of yummy mediterranean foods.

Use for Arabic food and condiment for veggies. Hard to decide on which brand to buy but decided on Cortas and am very pleased with the taste and texture although the price could be a little lower as sold in local Arabic stores at a much cheaper price.

I really enjoy this brand. It's very tart and not too sweet. But I realized when comparing with another that I ordered that it isn't molasses. That's why the four stars. It's basically a pomegranate juice reduction. But I'm all for it. It's very tasty. At least, that's what I can tell based on the ingredients. It doesn't list molasses as an ingredient. The other brand is got is actually molasses with pomegranite, which is also good, but the molasses is a little overpowering so not the same flavor profile at all. This one is so good on fruit. I really enjoy it. Shopping was great. They packaged really well too make sure the bottles didn't break. Really happy with this purchased.

Bought specifically for a BBQ sauce. This has an interesting tart and sweet taste very different from black strap.

Sour and delicious, I use it for salad dressing it makes a huge difference and everyone asks me what did I use.

Truly an improvement over candy water grenadine. There is an adjustment because it is sour but incredibly flavorful. I don't drink alcohol, I add grenadine to Sprite or mountain dew, 7UP, etc. This product is far more flavorful and while close to bitter, brings an incredible amount of flavor to whatever you're using it in. I created a ham glaze with this, that simply blew my family away. The ham glaze I created was preferred over the traditional pineapple glaze by six to one... And this product when it arrived I immediately stored in the fridge. Even the unopened bottle, I stored both in the fridge and I even poured some into my candy water grenadine... This product is incredibly versatile and I would recommend anyone to buy it and try it.

not good taste imo. suspect it may have turned in the few wks it sat on my counter before first use? but it did not say to refrigerate before opening. The color is brownish and it does not have the lovely sharp semi sweet taste of pomegranate juice. I purchased a different brand before this one and it was amazing, but the price had increased and this brand was a better deal. But not when it doesn't taste good and you cannot return this product! Cannot recommend at all.

This Pomegranate Molasses is very nice! I use it in baking. It would be good for anything where you want to add a nice flavour. I also really like the size of this bottle, it fits nicely in my fridge.
