Earthy Sapo Reetha Shampoo Bar - Suitable For Dry Hair

This bar was great in the beginning but then I slowly began to notice how drying it was... I don't understand why this is recommended for dry hair since bar strips my hair dry. However, it does work if your using a regular conditioner with it however, I was looking for some zero waste options so I don't use regular conditioner.But I really like this brand and the message that they are trying to promote so I'll check out their other products and see if something works for me. 😊

This is the first time I am using this product. I bought it because I wanted to use chemical free products. Here is my review.The soap was well packed with all the necessary instructions to use the shampoo bar. The instruction said to. Slightly oil the hair and then wash with the shampoo bar. Even after washing the hair three times. My hair was oily. Though the soap gives rich lather it is not for thick long hair. If the soap is used once or twice I don't think you will like the product.

The primary reason for using a shampoo bar was to give up bottles of shampoo that do not get recycled and also because of the chemical residue left in the environment because of regular, popular products.Now, about the product. It is good for short hair, upto shoulder length. Longer hair make get terribly tangled in the process of lathering. Also, it is a bit drying and requires a good conditioner post shampoo. What i really like is that this bar is completely natural and non toxic to the environment. It also cleans the hair and scalp well. The pack also gives suggestions for converting the soap into liquid form but i havent tried that.

1) I've used reetha-amla-shikakai powder for a month prior to switching to this shampoo bar, during the transition from chemical shampoo to herbal shampoo. My hair was used to this. 2) I oil my hair the night before otherwise hair gets extremely dry 3) lathers quite richly 4) properly followed instructions leads to excess oil removal 5) post shampoo hair feels very different from the chemical shampoos 6) I do need a little bit of conditioner 7) no extra hairfall. Overall, I haven't found any reason to discontinue using it. I've dry, frizzy, wavy, collarbone length hair.

Very good natural product. If you are looking for a natural hair cleanser / curly girl method cleanser, go for it.What we need to note is this works differently to chemical loaded shampoos available in market.I would suggest not to use any silicone and paraben loaded products when you are trying to go natural. So do a one time clarifying shampoo (without silicones) before going natural. If Not chances are hair will lack lusture and will be weighed down. I guess that's what has happened to people who have given reviews with low ratings. It's important to know how products work.As a recovering hair loss sufferer from pcos, I find this product works best with my healing process.

I have been using organic shampoo bars pretty much exclusively for the past 6 years. Since I moved to India, I stopped using my US-made products and was happy to find that there were some options of handmade soaps formulated for hair. While some companies claim that they are "all natural", they are not transparent about the ingredients they use, such as some fragrances, which is really irresponsible since some people have allergens. Earthy Sapo fulfilled my requirements for a shampoo bar made with with natural ingredients, lower waste packaging, and generally has good energy behind this product. The product has worked for me, and cleans my hair well (do two lathers and rinses). This soap CAN be improved (it can be more superfatted and lather better). Still, this is a great option for people who care about sustainability, want to support small businesses and using less chemicals on their body. Like all shampoo bars, people with different hair will reacct differently. Also, if you've never used shampoo bars before, your hair may take some time to adjust. I love pairing my hair washing with an apple cider vinegar (or other type of vinegar) rinse, and some drops of my favorite essential oils.

Sorry for the late review.I loves the product! Way to go!I have been having hair fall issue for quite some time now, this product came as a blessing... Thank God for that.I bought this on the advise of @fittuber.I am not saying that my hairfall stopped entirely because of this shampoo bar, but this chemical free product does not make my hair "unnecessarily fall". I can see the difference.I need to use a conditioner after wash... and it is not like the well packaged shampoo .. fragrant full.of chemical stuff... so pls be patient while using this.It gives a good lather.. so hair scalp is cleant well.The product comes with a sweet note from the team to not give up... and yes it really pays.RegardsShagufta

After trying multiple shampoo bars(more than 10), I’ve quite literally landed at the best. What I absolutely love about this is how it keeps dry hair moisturized and silky after every oil wash. And yes the oil thoroughly washes off unlike most other shampoo bars.
