I loved it.
It's rare that a book bring tears to my eyes. "More Than I Can Bear" was one of those books. The main character (Paige) failed to realize that it wasn't God who brought those storms in to her life, it was man not God. But God was the one who help her get though each and every one of them. It was his grace and mercy that did it. God never leaves us nor forsake his children. Even though there are times when we think that he has left us or turned his back on us. It's all about believing and trusting in God himself and not man. Paige aimed her pain, hurt and tears at God until she finally realize who God truly is, a loving and caring God who never put more on us than we could bear.I was shock when Norman died. Norman wasn't always saved. Norman was once a dog in the earlier books of E.N. Joy. Back than Norman needed Jesus. By giving his life to Christ he turned into a loving and kind young man. He still made mistakes along the way but he never stop believing that God can do all things but fail. Because of Paige not only Norman but his mother also gave her life to Christ. All in all I loved the book. I enjoyed it from beginning to the end. I have read comments about how reader could not put the book down it was so good, now it's my time to say the same. I could not put it down it was indeed a page turner. I hope there is a follow up on Paige and her new romance.

An awesome book!
Review for More Than I Can Bear by E. N. JoyPaige, a Christian who loves The Lord, is faced with a myriad of trials that really, really test her faith. She believes in God and knows he's the way, the truth and the life. The problem with this is she doesn't understand why a God, who is suppose to love her, would allow her to be covered with a multitude of tribulations. Time after time she is faced with more pain that she can bear...BUT GOD!Where do I begin? This book was written is such a way that it grabbed my attention, gripped my heart and invited my emotions along for an in-depth yet enlightening ride. E. N. Joy quickly drew my in with a captivating opening, a heart-felt storyline and a satisfying ending. This is Christian Fiction at its finest! She wrote an amazing story, developed strong characters and brought you just the right amount of Word that will touch your soul. For me this was the total package. She combines two of the things I love most: My God and a great story. Although this is book two in a series, it definitely stood on it's own. I LOVED IT. I give it Five Stars!!!!!

AN AWESOME MESSAGE!
Paige, a newly "born-again" Christian young woman wavering in faith due to the trials in her life, has to learn to love God regardless of the troubles that abound. Along the way, she must also learn to be still and love herself as God works everything out for her good.In the story, Paige needed to learn to fear God (the beginning of wisdom) and His power by Praising Him through the trials and not criticize a Holy and redeeming God whenever things didn't go her way.To me, this was like cussing God. She needed to be humble and broken in spirit. I feel that if she'd learned this in the begining, then her trials may not have been around every corner. Even though, God was connecting every piece of her dilemmas to form the person she was meant to be in Him.Many of us waiver in the faith and is brought back, if we continue to hold on. Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. This story is beautifully written and very true to life. Great Christian fiction!

What a story!!!
This book kept me in suspense. At times I was totally frustrated with the main character, Paige, but then I realized why she frustrated me. She frustrated me because she was a lot like me. Her story and how she handled herself reminded me of things that I had gone through and how I reacted. This character is truly realistic and very human.Once I got started I couldn't stop reading because I had to find out what was going to be the outcome. I also read I Ain't Me No More and absolutely loved it as well. The message of both books is very clear but presented in 2 different ways in my opinion which shows the versatility of the author's story telling technique. I hope to hear more about Paige and her family in later additions to this series. All in all it was a great read and a page turner. I read this in 2 dAys. Very hard to put down.

What a Journey!
E. N. Joy's second book in the Always Divas series had a tough act to follow. I Ain't Me No More is now on my all-time favorite list. I didn't know what to expect with this one. However, the second book is more than just the beautiful graphics on the cover.Within the pages is the story of Paige, a woman who faced much to bear. I laughed. I cried. I was taken on an emotional roller coaster than ultimately ended with me knowing God is in charge and He knows best. This was a woman's spiritual journey of facing tough times and then looking back to discover God was there and He had her all along. Readers expect to see God's Anointing in this one. How much can we bear? We can bear as much as needed for God to get us where we need to be. May God continue to bless the work of her hand and I know some souls will be led to the Word of God after reading this.

God is such an awesome God. Thanks for laughter, cries, and the spiritual lift I was in need of to help deal with my current situations. It's always good to hear something you can relate to.
