This has been a great product for me so far and it gives me some peace of mind to backup my things onto it. When you first use it, you'll be introduced to Seagate's toolkit. I'm sure some people like the toolkit, but I think it's kind of annoying. I'd rather just be able to use the drive without it trying to run the toolkit in the background whenever I plug it into my PC.

This little SSD is has a huge impact. Fits in the palm of my hand and is about as thick as a phone. I’ve tested it in two capacities: as an extra hard drive for an original Xbox one and as a back up drive for photos, videos and other storage heavy files.If you’re looking to speed up your load times for Xbox or PS4 because they both have internal HDD’s, you can bet on this drive. My load time to boot up Destiny 2 went from 2 minutes to 20 seconds, and I no longer had environment rendering issues in Call of Duty: Warzone.If you’re looking to use this as a back up drive, it’s got plenty of storage and items transfer very fast - it took less than 2 minutes to transfer 20 GB of video and photos over USB 2.0, which is far slower than USB 3.0.Overall consensus? This is a fast and reliable storage device that takes up very little space.

This thing is rocket fast doing back up transfers at around 65 mb/s consistently. Compared to my USB 3.0 this thing is so much faster. I just got this today and I shall likely come back and give a long term review in the near future.I used to work for Seagate in the 1980's in the Delray Beach, Florida repair department in the clean room with the old magnetic disc drives. They moved the facility overseas so I found other work. The only thing I would rate this better was if it was made in USA. So far so good.

All five stars, exactly as described and works perfectly. My console isn’t make noise anymore when it loads Netflix, it used to turn into a little jet engine when loading Netflix. It comes with 465 free space due to operation systems. I’m using this one a release Xbox One, it’s an old system that is acting brand new again because of this SSD. I couldn’t be happier with this. It loads and plays games very well, Apex is running better than ever now because of this SSD.

Perfect hard drive, very reliable and fast transfer of data

I wanted this to make an image for a windows 7 computer. When i tried to image to it, windows said it needs to be formatted NTFS and the drive was exFat. Chatting with the seagate person he said i need to use the windows program diskmgmt.msc in the search box. worked fine and fast to reformat the drive.

I bought this 500GB SSD with the intention of cloning a hardrive in an older desktop. What I did instead was install a Linux Mint 19.3 Mate OS, and made it bootable.Seagate Onetouch is very user friend and simple to configure right out of the box. I highly recommend it, and will with certainty buy again. Next time, a 1TB!

We’ll see how it goes. My last seagate drive died 2 weeks after I bought this one. Less than a year old - fingers crossed. They don’t make a drive cheap enough to make losing data worth it.

Very small and portable. Noiseless as you would expect and transfers files quickly. Use it as a backup for Time Machine on my Macbook Pro and its flawless.

La mejor característica es su tamaño pero también la aplicación para sincronizar y respaldar es una herramienta muy conveniente.
