great value
bought these for my wife who is an artist working mostly in oils. she asked for some inexpensive but decent quality angular brushes that she didn't have to fret over ruining, if it came to that. she has her more expensive go-to's but was looking for some other options for certain tasks. she has loved these brushes so far. was surprised by the quality (considering the price) and plans on ordering these again when the time comes. great value.

These would be nice brushes at twice the price. Seriously.
I bought a set of the 5 Zen angle brite brushes (model MR42A) produced by Royal Langnickel, a well-regarded brand of artist grade brushes for $25 (about $5 per brush). In my experience, I have found these Golden Maple brushes - my brushes are branded Bomeijia model 802, by the way, not Golden Maple) - to be every bit as good, if not slightly better in fit and material quality as well as in application performance using Golden heavy body acrylics. That's 9 brushes for $14 (about $1.50 per brush). In other words, this set of brushes truly would be a bargain at twice the price. I had previously bought a set of Golden Maple filbert style brushes and I had been (and remain) similarly impressed. By the way, two of the five Royal & Langnickel MR42A angle brites have failed, the ferrules detaching from the handle; not one of these 9 Bhmeijia 802 angle brite brushes has experienced a similar failure. (I use the Zen brushes interchangeably with these "Golden Maple" Bomeijia 802s.) One small advisory: Golden Maple habitually applies an abundance of temporary glue to the bristles for protection during transport, so the user needs to expect that the brushes will need to be cleaned and rinsed out two times before use. (This was true with these angle brushes, just as it was with the set of filberts. And, I might add, my very best brushes - e.g., the Princeton Catalyst Polytips the Creative Mark Master Stroke Powercryls, and Creative Mark Berlins - are all shipped with this protective glue on the filaments. In other words, the glue is an indicator of quality, not a problem.

Great Brushes
Love the brushes, excellent quality for the money. The only concern I had is that the Woden handle is starting to peel on some os the brushes. Don't leave them in water for too long.

Great for acrylics
I personally think the handles are a little too long but they don’t fray and are durable brushes

Best filbert brushes that hold paint well.
These Filbert brushes hold the color extra well and give a smooth surface to continue painting on. I love this set, out of all the filbert brush sets that I have bought.

Surprisingly good brushes!
For the money, these are just great. I've used them for a month and they have held their shape well.

Ferrule comes off of handle on some
Nice brushes but I had to tape the ferrule on to hold together aggravating. Also after a few cleanings the black paint on the handle gets sticky and starts to rub off.

Sent them back
I had to return these brushes. As much as I loved the feel of them, I was not impressed with their poor manufacturing. The crimps were loose so that the ferrules on 8 out of the 9 brushes wobbled. Apart from being afraid that the handles would come detached, I wasn't confident that I would get accurate paint strokes with these brushes, so I sent them back and got a refund.

Great product and good service.
These brushes surprised me. Much better than I thought they would be. Handles are a bit long so I’m getting used to them. The bristles are very good quality. There is a very good range of sizes. I use the to paint with acrylic paint. I’ve used them on canvas and paper. Would definitely buy them again.

Save your money
I am quite disappointed with these. I have paid half as much as I did here in Wal Mart for a better product. The brush ends are extremely lose on both packages that I bought and one fell off when I took it out of the package. Save yourself the headache.
