My husband loves these cheese balls so I'm always buying them. The containers are really handy too for my baking ingredients like sugars and flours.

These are some tasty cheese balls. And there are a lot of them! The container is huge. No problem sharing with this around. The balls are crunchy and taste fresh. They are like other cheese balls which I've eaten - they leave fingers orange and I have to have a napkin close by. Sometimes I will portion these out in a little cup or dish and eat them with a spoon so I don't soil my fingers while I read. But, for some reason they taste better when I eat them with my fingers. Doesn't really make sense to me why. Anyway, they are good. Not through any fault of the cheese balls, but if I eat too many in one sitting, the roof of my mouth gets a little scratched and torn.

first got these as an impulse buy. very tasty and of course you will get cheesy stuff on your fingers, but they don't 'melt' and get gooey if left out in a bowl. unfortunately they stopped coming in a 1 container option, have to buy 2 or 3 at a time which is a lot of cheeseballs. i ended up giving some to a neighbor, even ordered some for a friend. they really are good, you will eat the whole container way way way to fast! and the containers are great for re-use with the lids that either snap on or screw on. i kept a couple and left some in the lobby of my building and they were snapped up right away.

I grew up with a Planters cheese ball addiction and even after all these years, I can recall the exact flavor, texture, and balance of saltiness off the top of my head. Til this day, I still don't understand why they discontinued them. Seriously, they were the BEST snack I ever had growing up! We searched long and far for a Planters replacement, and found 4 options. We lined them up and had a Planters Substitute taste test. Unfortunately, Utz came dead last of the 4 brands we tried. It has an oddly sweet aftertaste and the texture is grainy. The cheese balls aren't crisp, but a more dense crunch with tiny bits of hard cornmeal in them. Safeway/Vons carries their own brand cheese balls and they're almost the same as Planters. Crunchy and light, with that perfect cheesy flavor. If you don't have a Safeway or Vons near you, Walgreens store brand (I believe it's called Nice!) makes their own as well, and also tastes about the same. However, Utz just didn't cut it for us. It sat there until it got hard and stale, then we ended up tossing the vast majority of the huge jar.

Crunchy, seem high quality, but just don't like the taste at all.

The container is quite large and is a good buy. I like the cheese balls, and the sealed container keeps them fresh. However, the cheese taste could be stronger.

Wow! The container for these is HUGE and filled to the top with crunchy yummy cheese balls. Seriously, this barrel will last me at least until Christmas. It's at least a 2-gallon barrel -- about twice as big as I thought it would be. The quality is super, too. Very fresh, "use by" date far enough into the future to make it worthwhile. Will definitely order these again if I can manage to work my way through my first order of these. They're really REALLY good and priced well for the quantity. Solid 5 stars.

Do I honestly need to review these? Who doesn't like cheese puffs? They arrived in new condition, the tub was sealed and the puffs were fresh. I actually bought two of these: one for myself and the other for my boyfriend. They both lasted maybe three days, because once you start eating them it is insanely difficult to stop. Be warned! Also you get A LOT of puffs in each tub. One pound is actually quite a lot when the puffs weigh so little. I actually found these at my local grocery too, but let's be honest. I'd rather buy them anonymously because I won't buy just one at a time, and I will probably buy at least two a month. I don't want my cashier to wonder if I have an addiction.
