GA101 Jam Cable Dual Guitar Adapter 1/4" Stereo Instrument Cable

It does separate the Instruments sound into one input. Good Quality, could sound, no noise or feedback. I tried to other signal splitters for one input and none performed at all for what I needed. This amperage GA101 is the savior I needed and no headaches, no problems. Strong and durably made.

Plugged a uke with on board electronics and a banjo with a cheap piezo. Worked great and a band mate promptly wanted one too. Just be aware that you may need to run levels on that channel a bit higher so if you have any unwanted sounds or feedback lurking in your current set up you will want to sort that out. Life will be easier if you have onboard pre amp on both instruments.

This works well enough, but doesn't isolate the two guitars as well as I'd like. The volume control on one guitar still seems to effect the volume of the other, but it's not too bad. With a little effort, you can get the guitars to the same volume. Otherwise, it works well enough. I haven't noticed any sound quality issues.

Finally, a true splitter for amp INPUT! This thing is so helpful as a teacher. My students and I can both plug into my amp and pedalboard at the same time, so we can play songs together very easily. This is something many electric guitar teachers should have in their studio!

I use it to play my bass guitar and split it to my play amp and my PlayStation 5 to playrocksmith it allows my amp to play just my bass while playing rocksmith and the game to record.

The adapter takes two mono signals with there own volume controls like guitars and brings them into one mono jack. Pretty simple, and it does a great job of it. This way if your hurting for amps, you can plug in two guitars to the same amp. You will have to turn the volume on the one amp all the way up, as the input signal is halved using two guitars.

I was a little apprehensive when I order the splitter, but it works just fine. I use it to split my guitar signal to two pedal boards and then bring it back together ahead of a noise gate. There is a little volume loss, but I can only turn my Twin up to about 3 in the house without making my ears bleed. A much less expensive option than two A/B boxes.

Works EXACTLY as advertised. And "no", I don't work for the company. But I have been playing guitar for 52 years, and have been writing songs for 40 years, and have been using looping to layer some songs. I like being able to rapidly go from one guitar to another.
