This is OK.
I don't know anything about using this for insulation. I bought it to wrap one of my fingers when playing the guitar - I use metal fingerpicks and occasionally they produce a bit of a slight tinkling sound which is quite attraxctive but unwanted in recordings. Good for that.

Good range of colours
Bought to repair a hosepipe but probably not the best solution as really didn't work too well despite initially sticking well. As electrical tape should be fine.

Not bad as tape goes.
Not bad. You don't get much tape on them, not bad adhesion, but not that thick. Handy for little diy jobs, wouldn't be using for big electrical jobs. Trade tape the best for that.

Ok but not very strong adhesion
If you’re after strong adhesion look elsewhere. These are ok but at the lower end of the adhesive scale in my opinion.
