Silverstein’s newest album, “I Am Alive In Everything I Touch,” is one of the band’s strongest albums to date. These 12 songs are each uniquely crafted to showcase the band’s signature mixture of emotional screams and soaring melodies.

Excellent album, not their best but still very good.
Silverstein continues to produce quality albums, but I feel like their best work is "Discovering the Waterfront" and "Rescue". However, this album is certainly an improvement over "This Is How the Wind Shifts". I can listen to entire album without skipping any tracks and I feel it was certainly worth purchasing. More great work, from a fantastic band.

Haven't heard these guys since 2006
I haven't listened to these guys since 2006 but just happen to come across a music video for A Midwestern State Of Emergency recently. I could not get the song out of my head so I bought the album. 90% of this album is just as good if not better. The vocal work on this album is absolutely great! I might check out their other albums if they are as good as this.

This album is 10/10 and i would recommend to anyone who enjoys post core or silverstein
Silverstein never disappoints! every song on the album is quality, with standout tracks: Face Of The Earth, Toronto (Unabridged), and A Midwestern State of Emergency. This album is 10/10 and i would recommend to anyone who enjoys post core or silverstein!

These guys never dissappoint!
I have yet to hear a bad album by Silverstein. Every album they release is just another awesome set of music to add to my collection. So many bands tend to fizzle out and lose their edge, these guys just keep rollin out 5 star albums. I can't get enough.

Their still alive!
Silverstein come back with another strong album. If you've enjoyed the two previous albums then add this to the collection. Not many bands keep up what their good at and generally sell out or change genre.Well done guys!

Probably as good as we can now expect from the Boshart-less Silverstein
I like this album. I don't love it. Probably a 3.5/5 stars deal for me. Indeed better than the previous one. Not as good as their 1st, 2nd, 4th, nor 5th (Rescue DX, the best of them all, and Boshart's [lead guitarist] swan song). As far as "American roadtripping homage CDs" go, I like this album much better than the Foo's last effort. There are flavourful texts, catchy choruses, and a good chaining of songs in general. Highlights are Toronto (abridged and unabridged), Late on 6th, Desert Nights. No awful song. But nothing truly stand-out beyond these four tracks. The problem with Silverstein now is that they're a band without a lead guitar. I mean that literally. They have to rely on two rhythm guitars to round-out the sound, and they're trying to elevate the expertise level of the ensemble by pushing the vocal range and putting drums at the forefront. The result is that the guitar isn't a factor anymore, except for the track 'Toronto'. The best Silverstein tracks of all time, IMHO, were defined by their guitar track (Already Dead, Burning Hearts, Texas Mickey, American Dream, etc).Buy the CD. If you're Canadian and have lived or visited Toronto often, you'll find these tracks heartfelt and chock full of meaning, as I have, having visited the city often recently. But if you're looking for pop-punk-alternative goodness and you do not buy a lot of albums, go seek The Story So Far, Neck Deep, or Four Year Strong's latest efforts instead.
