Justice League Dark: Apokalips War [Blu-ray] [2020]

Awesome movie. It is so great when a movie lives up to the hype. I love the animation, the story and the action is blood and brutal. I usually don't like bad language in movies, but here it was not over used or just used to justify a older age rating. I think it was done to fit in to the characters natural speech. Superman leads the Justice League in an attack on Apokalips and its ruler Darkseid. To say it does not go well us an understatement. Decimation is probobly a better term. Those who are killed might be the lucky ones. Those that survive have an even worse fate. Now two years later the heroes are gone and the world is more or less destroyed. The few survivors must band together for one final stand. Everything about this movie is great. Every character manages to have their moment to shine. The other thing I love is they managed to link all the New 52 animated movies together. To continuity lovers like me this is incredible. Just a note this movies is not a kids movie. It earned the whole 15 rating. People will be torn apart, limbs ripped bitten and torn off. Everyone must evolve or die. On a personal note I never liked Damian. Not in the comics or the movies, until now this movie actually even made him cool. All round great.

Well, this has got to be one the of best DC animated movie's out there, it has a really good story and the animation is done very well. What took me by surprise was how violent is was, I'd say it's the bloodiest one yet, if your happy seeing some of your favourites DC characters have their limbs ripped then you'll enjoy this movie. I'd say this dc dark movie is a solid 5/5

Very good watch

What an ending to the overall story. This is not for kids! Great plot where they bring the heroes to rock bottom, to basically losing as a point to fight back. From Superman’s never ending optimism to The Flash providing the eventual reset, it’s a long brutal way back and a must watch if you’re a DC fan.

Proud owner of many of the DCAU movies, this one was the bitter cherry on top, I say that only because it's sad to see it end. I hope we see a new animated universe on the horizon. Run Barry run.

If you have invested your time with the other DC movies this is definitely for you since its its conclusion.

This is 100% not a kids movie. I couldn't get over just how savage some of the scenes are with all the gore. The story is one of the best I've seen even if the end is a bit of a cop-out in my opinion. Despite that, I'd highly recommend it!

As others have stated here, the last few years' worth of animated movies have been hit and miss. There have been great movies and some that have fallen flat. I love the first JL Dark movie and thought it really got the sense of the comic, so I thought I would have more of the same, possibly a little darker... Well, I certainly got dark. In fact, it was positively grim. If you want to see your favourite DC hero battling it out with Darkseid, then think again. You see them all go off to battle Darkseid and then cut to two years in the future... Most of the heroes you love have been slaughtered and Earth is the new Apokolips. Most of the characters banded together to 'save the day' are not even Justice League who are joined by a bunch of psycho criminals! So, as one reviewer here writes, it feels as though they've swept the board and are starting again, which is fine unless it is sacrificing your story. The end is left hanging, so after all these years, time and money I didn't feel as though I really had got to the end of the journey. I felt as bit as though I've been on a long bus journey, only to be chucked out of the bus just before I get to the last stop! I'll watch it again, (see if I can make more sense of it), but to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Three is for the animation and because I could never give DC less than three having been a fan since the 1970s, although that does not mean I am sometimes left disappointed.

I collect and follow the DC universe for many years. I have every animated movie from Marvel and DC universe in my collection. Justice League Dark Apokalips War is truly one of the best in my collection. It is action packed and the storyline is great. This movie is a must see. I give it 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆.
