Champion Men's Big-Tall Jersey Shorts

I had a difficult time replacing my old Champion Jersey Shorts because I could never find them with the inner elastic waistband covered with the same Jersey material as the shorts themselves. Well, my search ended happily when I found these at Amazon. These are great lightweight Jersey material shorts with two pockets, one on each side. The inside elastic waistband is not exposed but covered with Jersey material which makes the shorts very comfortable. I wear these for bed and they feel great. The size was on the smaller side. I wear size 42 pants and 3X fit comfortably. I like the shorts to be loose when sleeping and I use the drawstring to sinch up the waist if needed. I was originally thinking 2X however they did not have any available in Black at that size so I went up to 3X. I slipped them on and they fit perfectly so I'm glad I didn't get the 2X after all. I received the shorts quickly and in good shape. They arrived quickly and packaged well.

My son really liked these shorts (he is 6'1"). I bought a navy blue size XL pair. They fit great (they are long enough) and he is happy with the cotton fabric (which are hard to find). I am buying him another pair (or maybe 2).

Ordered another pair so happy with the quality

I purchased one pair to test the sizing, going down one size as some of the recommendations suggested. Worked perfectly and have ordered a few more in the same size and all fit the same, so sizing is consistent from batch to batch. Very comfortable and soft and appear to wear well too. Mine are not showing any signs of wear/use and are worn daily. The only other thing, besides running a tad large, to consider are the strings....they have a tendency to hide. What I mean is while they are long enough, they tend to draw into the waist band and disappear. It's easy enough to grab a pair of long tweezers or needle nose pliers and pull them back out through the opening in the waist band but it seems to happen after every washing. It may drive you to distraction. I have started to just tie the strings together before washing.

These shorts are better quality than other other shorts I've purchased off of Amazon. Good find, and I actually plan on purchasing more products from this seller in the future. Edit: I am updating this review after having used Champions products for several years now. I work from home and wear these shorts every day. My original review is still spot on, their products are very durable and do not fall apart like competitor's products. I don't think that in the last 4 years I've thrown away any of the Champion shorts as they're still in excellent condition.

The price was not worth the quality of the profuct

Many years ago I got a pair of champion shorts, they were very heavy duty had a very strong tie that never broke, no rubber on the waistband, very deep pockets, and they lasted me more than 5 years. I have been trying to replace them with champion or non champion shorts and it seems cost cutting measures have made it impossible I bought 5 pairs of these shorts 3x and they all fit good check The material is cotton but not very heavy duty, if held in front of light you can see through them pretty well, I had to return 1 pair already as there were possibly factory defect holes already near the rear seem. The strings on these appear strong and they have to be toed (huge bonus over the skinny strings that loop and break on most cheaper shorts The price of these was ok (I've paid over $30 a pair looking for the old good qulaity champions and still looking The pockets are deep but not real deep and also what I'd call medium to near cheap fabric so durability will probably be an issue Another issue I've seen with champion is rubber waistbands (OMG why???) thankfully these did not have that. All in all there are much worse shorts that can be had, but for $20 I expected a little more so I'm giving 3 stars for now, if they last more than a year (which I don't expect) I will update
