OEM WORKS GREAT
This part was exact and fixed the problem with handle that dropped. The spring was broken, now it’s like new.

Perfect Fit!
This was exactly the right spring for my Emtec lever handle doorknob which was installed in 2007. It was relatively easy to replace and now the return is stronger than ever!

Did the trick for my DIY repair
There are some videos on-line that walk you through replacing door handle springs and this spring worked great for our Emtek door handle. Saved a bunch of money not replacing the whole handle or hiring someone to do it. (Hint: Also consider getting a pair of snap-ring pliers to help with that part of the job.)

Way, way too expensive. It's just a spring. Less expensive versions worked fine
$10-$12 for a spring that costs pennies to make. I bought this one and the less expensive version. The cheaper ones work just fine.

Works like a champ - and should given the price!
This is a very specific item (designed solely for Emtek door handles). The replacement piece fits perfectly. I would have given five stars if it weren’t for the price. Granted, these guys are the only game in town but $15 for a metal piece that may cost $.32 to produce is a little steep.

it works
this spring works but it needs to be stronger to bring the door handle completely back to the normal position.

Strong
Fits great, nice and strong. Almost seems stiffer than original but that could be from the old one wearing out over time.

Worked like a charm!
My Emtek door handle (very heavily used for the last 10 years) started to sag after one day I pushed it and heard a snap. This little item was exactly what I needed. It took about 10 minutes to change. Remember when you do this you will need an allen key to first remove the handle from the assembly. Then you have to slide the retaining clip off and carefully take the washers off. Then replace this part (look at the other handle to see where it goes). Then put it all back together and you're all set. Thanks for making this part available. The handle would have been $149!!!
