Being able to lock clips if something interesting happens is very nice too, and the shock sensor seems like it works well as well.TBH I had been debating whether to buy a dashboard camera for about a year and am glad that this is the product that I purchased. It is high quality and very easy to set up. The menu features are intuitive, although it really works out of the box without any set-up. Plug it in and it's ready to go! The cable was a great length which allowed me to tuck it in the headliner and door mouldings for a clean installation. After a quick drive around the block, I pulled the camera and plugged it into my computer, and without any special software setup, I was able to view a video file and copy it. This is truly a plug & play device. I would recommend it to anyone.

She didn't want a front and rear, and to be fair that was great for me, as fitting rear dash cams are hard work!So we plumped for a small petite camera that just does the job.It came in a nice box, and as people seem to love unboxing pictures and videos I've included those for you.However more importantly I think I've included snap shots from the videos at night, during good light, poor light etc and through a town and by signs so you can see how good the quality is. This is the second Apeman Dash Cam I've purchased, since the one in my wife's car has been pretty much faultless. Again this is a top notch, no nonsense product.Picture quality is clear and steady, even over rougher terrain. The switch between daylight and night mode is swift (it triggers in darker tunnels from what I can tell). Settings are clear and easy to understand. Loop recording works fine, with adjustable intervals (1,3 and 5 mins) or you can set it to simply record continuously.Adjustable camera angles are useful, considering this is meant to be permenanetly stuck to your windscreen/dash. It's easy to adjust, so I imagine you could change this depending on road conditions.Favourite improvement over the previous model however, is the ability to turn off all the sounds the cam makes. No beeps, just silent, from start to stop.Overall, perfect product, no frills, but you don't need them.

The smallest dash cam I have ever used. Even though the product is so small the clarity of the picture is great (see the picture above of the keyboard). The internal battery will also be a useful upgrade from my old camera as the camera activates when a bump is detected. The power cable suppled also features a USB port so you can still charge your phone through the 12v car socket. Overall very happy with my purchace.

Let me tell you why I like them and their products so much.The device is well packaged in simple, minimal, compact, well designed packaging.In today's era we need to conserve on waste and keep it to a minimum.The device is very easy to setup. Simple controls and a clear menu system make configuration a breeze.All you need to get going is a microSD card. I recommend a high endurance rated card as they are designed for dashcam use.Picture quality and viewing angles are also very good. Nice and sharp. Exactly what you'd expect from a 1080p sensor.The device itself is very low profile meaning it won't obscure your vision while driving. This is a problem you'll find with other bulkier solutions.Overall I find this dashcam fantastic and everything I need. 5* from me.

Picture quality is ok, lots of blur at 30mph, unable to read number plates from more than 3 or 4 metres. Doesn't come with a hard wire kit to connect the car's fuse box and the internal battery is small but, if turning the egnition most days it's enough to keep it charged.As for mounting, the 3M stick sticks well enough.EditApeman customer services contacted me regarding my review and correctly pointed out that the image quality is enough to record a number plate in the event of an accident or bump, which I suppose I do a agree with.They offered me a new if I believed mine to be faulty.I've amended this review as for the money it's not a bad cam at all.

Arrived promptly and packaged well, however after wiring it up found that the cigarette lighter connector/socket kept the camera on all the time, so I purchased an adapter to use the usb outlet on my car which was only live when the ignition was on.However after the bother of wiring it up and mounting it on the windscreen l found it didn't work it failed to record “ stating “Format card” every time the ignition was turned on.I had formatted the card on the camera and also in my PC when this appeared. The card was the correct type and a good quality brand.Nice size easy to install, but failed to work.Shame really very disappointed, so I sent it back for a refund.
