Picked up the BENFEI HDMI to VGA adapter to connect my new laptop to older projectors and VGA monitors at work. This solved a perplexing problem for me, connecting HDMI to a screen projector. As HDMI connectors have no latching mechanism, my connection would fail whenever the cable got moved or disturbed. With this adapter, I can have a screwed-in connection to my projector. It is important to realize that a VGA connection does not carry audio, so this is for video connections alone. Perfect for me! Additionally, the HDMI port on this adapter has a very positive tactile connection, which improves confidence in the integrity of the connection.

It is working for me. I have an older entertainment and business quality projector, ViewSonic PJD5211, made to upgrade input to the best projection. I bought it on closeout with a free 10'+ screen. It has four inputs for different types of connections, but not an HDMI. So basically, I could hook up cable, vcr, gaming systems and DVD players, but could not connect any HDMI device, so no blu- ray or modern ROKU or fire stick. This device was a perfect solution, from HDMI to RS232 VGA connector on the projector. Now I'm watching Blu-ray and ROKU. It does step down the resolution, but the projector picks up the slack. I just bought this, if things change I'll let you know. I have been looking for an adaptor like this for some time and I am very happy. I have two connections so I will be buying a second one. This device also has 3.5mm audio out and requires USB power inout (both included). Beware, though, when considering this item as most items like this; it is one direction conversion. You can input HDMI and go to RS232 VGA computer connection, but you cannot go the other way. Computer port conversion to HDMI will not work with this device.

Did not work out of the box. I don't know why. I'm connecting a desktop computer HDMI out to the VGA in on an old Phillips 55 inch TV. The HDMI to HDMI port works, but the computer screen is over the edges and causes issues. I thought maybe it would be better connecting to the PC (VGA) port on the TV. It does not work. I used a 4k cable. The uni directional data flow on the adapter matches what I am trying to do. Flow is from HDMI to VGA, so it should work. Diappointed. I won't return it though since I was warned it was hit or miss.

It works but the display is fuzzy. Display using HDMI to HDMI is sharp.

Hat seinen Job gemacht, aber wegen der Port kommt nur 1080 Pi war leider nicht auf 2K aber hat einwandfrei funktioniert

Super adaptateur, fonctionne à merveille. J'ai été très agréablement surpris de la qualité du boitier type métal. J'ai branché le PC sous Windows 11 sur un vidéoprojecteur, nickel et j'ai branché une PS4 avec un câble HDMI de 5m, image vraiment très bonne. Le son passe très bien. Ne pas oublier d'utiliser l'alimentation pour avoir une image quand vous l'utiliser avec une PS4, c'est bien mentionné sur la page du produit. Quand c'est branché sur un ordinateur, pas besoin du secteur. Le son arrive même à sortir sur la prise Jack de cet adaptateur sans prise secteur dans ce cas. Je conseil cet article pour un usage polyvalent tant dans le domaine pro que privé sur tout type de support pour alimenter un appareil en VGA.

Its okay clunky

元々はUGREENのものを使用していたのですが、そちらが販売終了してしまったので、その替わりとして、 通常使用時には予備電源が必要無いHDMI to VGAの変換端子を探して購入しました。 想定している利用方法で動作に問題はありませんでした。
