Cat Condo Scratcher Post Cardboard, Milk Box Shape Cat Scratching House Bed, Red Color

originally got this in 2020 and it's still in great condition after 5 years. sturdy and cute! cats loved it and it held up outside well enough in the desert heat for the strays around here.

I gave it 4 🌟 because, it's cute but, I do have 1 small and 1 midsize issue with the product. I ordered this for my 16lb Kid (Cat), and I Literally just received it a couple of hours ago so... I can't say how my kid (cat) feels about it, because she doesn't want me to know if she's interested in it just yet. She'll avoid it until I'm asleep. As I said above, the Carton is cute, but here's my issues: Starting with the small issue... The carton comes with two (2) clean plastic type screws (don't know the correct term) that are used at the top to keep the carton closed, but they kept popping out. After a couple of tries and almost losing them, I took a couple of paper clips (not the little original clips, but the clips used for a stack of paper) and clip it until I found the superglue. I superglued the little suckers (screw pieces) together and Boom, I was done. I didn't put the little square cat scratcher piece inside, because it takes up too much room. Also, I throw out the tiny packet of ground up catnip, because I don't give my kid anything that isn't provided with the ingredients. I want my kid to live a very, very long time. Now, here's my somewhat Midsize issue: Although, this seller is cheaper in price then most sellers online, I don't think paying $20 for a colorful piece of cardboard that your cat can sleep in once in a while is worth $20. I mean.... It's Cardboard! 📦 Now, if the price drops between $8-10 and the strawberry Milk and or Banana milk cartons are available, I will definitely buy more. Those are my issues 😁 Something I found a little funny just before I wrote this comment, I noticed a comment saying they were upset because there weren't any instructions to put the carton together. And... Well... No offense but, If you really can't figure this "Milk Carton" out, then there may be some underlying issues going on?🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Again, NO OFFENSE.....

We bought this a couple years ago and our cats absolutely loved it. Unfortunately we adopted another cat and they ringworm so we had to get rid of the OG purchase. But we have bought another one and the cats still love it! It’s so cute, and a nice quiet sleep/play box for your kitties to have their own time in. I recommend for sure! It lasts, and it’s very easy to put together.

My cats love this milk carton. It is their favorite place to nap. I also give them catnip to have fun with inside. I don't know if your cats are like mine on catnip, but they like to stretch out, and my one cat used his hind legs to literally rip the thing apart, from being so stimulated from catnip. Also, he is not fat or big even, he was the runt of the litter, so this thing can be incredibly destroyed just from a small cat. I was kind of expecting this to happen, since it's cardboard, but since it's so cute I gave it a try. They love it a little too much for the material its made out of. However, it being $20, I don't think I'll give it a try again. With my awareness of 1. Cats being cats, love destroying things occasionally 2. It being made out of cardboard, and 3. I don't really need to spend a twenty for a fancy cardboard box - I don't know why I got this. Probably because I impulsively wanted to spoil them. Give it a try if you'd like, it's fun, but there are better options out there. Lol

Butter the cat approves this 110%. Very easy to put together, the cat scratching pad is a little bit smaller than the bottom of the box and it is definitely cardboard but it’s SUPER cute and well designed cardboard. Butter got into it immediately and is now staring at me from through the hole. She’s 7 lbs and could get in super easily.

This thing is so cute. The hole is on the small side, but being that the cat is a magical creature, my obese purr buckets manage to fit inside. The clips on the top of the carton that holds the top together have fallen apart rather quickly, which is disappointing. I will have to rely on some clear tape to fix that problem. Given the malfunctions, I would still purchase this again due to its visual appeal. It is a treat to look at.

Super cute! Easy to assemble. It only functions as a play house for my cats. The carton just is not big enough to use the scratcher pad (the main reason I bought it). Also, the entrance hole is small and does not work well for bigger cats.

My cats love hiding in these little scratch pad houses and I have several around the house. This one was so cute I had to have it. It took me about 2 mins to put it together and its held up great and seems very durable. Much more sturdy than the ones I get at Target. My cat weighs just under 10lbs and he fits just fine with room to spare so I'm sure even a little bit larger cat would also be comfy.
