My 11 year old grandson received a 3D printer from his parents and I started to search for birthday gift from his grandparents! More supplies for the printer? Something not related to 3D printing? Then I found an article on 3D printing that mentioned the children learning to design their own creations for 3D printing! Searched and found the perfect gift to not only make preprogrammed items, but the Maker Lab to deepen his knowledge of programming his own designs! Great book!

Very very basic.
Very VERY basic and the prints in the book itself are rough prints. It is a great book to peruse for ideas and to begin peaking interest in very young children.

Amazing Book, it deserves a 5 star, but please read the review.
It is an incredibly well laid out book appropriate for age 9 on up with some assistance. It really does what it says. I have one concern. It was delayed at one point and it was not clear when it would arrive. When it arrived, it was clear the package was opened and repackaged. I wasn't bothered so much by that or the bent corner as I was the sickeningly floral smell the book has. I don't know if that was part of a decontamination attempt or what, but my wife almost had an asthma attack coming near it, and I find it unsettling to read. I wish they didn't do what ever they did to this book. It actually deserved a 5 star, but I am hoping time with baking soda in a vacuum container may make it suitable to give to my kid. For now all I can say is Wow...Please next time just burn the book and send me a new one. I almost returned it.

I get this sort of thing FOR the kids. I assume they use it to good effect, though they're not up to airframes!
