Bought two of these for my wife’s and my own car. It is so important to have an effective fire fighting capability in a vehicle. We also have one in our kitchen and caravan as well as a large bottle on our upstairs landing outside the bedrooms. It gives peace of mind to know that there is something on hand to protect my family, help facilitate escape and if necessary fight a fire before it gets out of hand.

Bought 3 of these, luckily didn't need to use them, so can't speak about performance but what I like about them they are suitable for any sort of fires. If the fire starts the last thing I need is looking at labels through smoke to find out which extinguisher to use, so this was a big plus for me.

......I really won't know the details of this extinguisher unless, heaven forbit, I have to use it. It looks very good and solid and it will reside in a ready-to-grab location in the boot of my all electric car. There's a minuscule possibility of my lithium battery catching fire, but I wanted the best possible chance of being able to subdue such an event, should it arise. I might buy another for my kitchen, just in case.

If it is good as the advertisements, it is a great product. Lithium fires are a frightening prospect and are becoming more common than fires caused by a careless cigarette. My concern is I cannot find it rated for use in aircraft. In my light aircraft there is no alternative atmosphere to breathe after the fire is extinguished. I need to know if this will create a toxic atmosphere in a forced confined space - would putting out a simple smouldering napkin risk a poisonous environment ? For business use, all extinguishers should be commissioned and have a product data sheet to enable a COSHH assessment. The manufacturers won't release the information as it would compromise their closely guarded intellectual property - I understand that standpoint completely but it doesn't help.

Can't leave a review as to ease of use, as I haven't had to use it yet (luckily) - however I am happy with this as it was good value for money, and I am happy that it covers pretty much every type of fire, seems pretty handy and is just about the heaviness that I as a woman with joint pain can lift. Let's see how it fares in an emergency. I have done some research and the ones with powder will invalidate your home insurance so it was important to get one that does not do that, this one should do fine. (powder will obscure your vision, making it harder to escape a room in the event of a fire, hence if you use one of those most home insurance policies will not kick in - buyer beware and buy something like this !!) Money well spent, especially as we have a wood stove, electrical heaters and lamps as well as computer equipment and cats at home.

Firexo hat ein super Produkt! Das größte Problem ist aber, dass bei der Branschutzprüfung (alle 2 Jahre) durch eine entsprechende Firma diese Feuerlöscher zu Prüfung abgelehnt werden weil angeblich keine Prüfunterlagen von Firexo beigestellt werden. Deutsche Bürokratie eben! Das deutsche Vergleichsprodukt mit dem gleichen Löschmittel kostet doppelt so viel! Wunderbar! Ich bleibe dabei: Spitzenprodukt- da für alle Brände und ohne Pulver- oder Schaum- Sauerei.

Haven’t yet needed to use it, but it hasn’t shown signs of leakage after years and makes me feel more safe in my room full of flammable materials.
