This came in its own box not protected in a shipping box, I tried it out and it smells like the motor is getting hot?

I like the 2 ltr container. The lid fits very snug. Also the safety features. I use it for blending fruit, smoothies, crush ice. I even make homemade iced.

The media could not be loaded.  I love all the different blending modes. It's very easy to set up and blends things smoothly. I've made nut butter in this and it worked out great!
