Cursive Handwriting Workbook for Adults: Advanced Cursive Writing Worksheets with Intriguing Science Facts for a Meaningful Practice

This is probably an unfair review of an $8 book, but here goes: it's 101 pages of cheap paper with the tracing outlines too close to the inner binding. I bought this book because I wanted to brush up on my cursive now that I've gotten into writing with a fountain pen... keep your fountain pen far away from this book. The ink bleeds through immediately, and the pages make the nib feel three sizes smaller while letting three times as much ink as necessary. I'll check a stationary store for a book with better paper and maybe something spiral bound.

My husband (for whom English is a second language) wanted to improve his handwriting, but not with some childish exercises. This book best matches the handwriting style he was taught and wants to (generally) continue to use.The science topics are interesting to write, and you'll probably learn something. For people who want to work on their English, they are useful examples to copy and reinforce good everyday sentence structure, grammar and spelling. They are not for little kids, nor are they "high register" topics like the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, which are fine for other purposes.It would be good if there were other books with everyday, adult-level topics and samples to copy (cover letters, thank you notes, birthday greetings, congratulations, postcard-style "notes", complaint letters, and the like).

I purchased this workbook for my teenage daughter who didn't want a "baby/kids/teen" workbook to strengthen her cursive writing. She likes the smaller line size because she doesn't like to practice using huge lines. The scientific facts are interesting. Science is her favorite subject, so it works out nicely. The paper quality seems good and the workbook feels sturdy. I feel like it was a good value for the money. If she finishes this one and still needs practice, I would definitely buy another in the same series.

I do one of these pages daily and gave noticed a drastic change in the clarity and attractiveness of my handwriting.
