Best thing I can say is that they work and do have a noticeable odor that helps with bug retardation and can help to mask minor garbage odor.

I bought these trash bags to line a very large 3-sided cat litter pan I purchased for which I have not been able to find pan liners (see Natures Miracle Advanced High Side Corner Litter Pan). This may not be the most cost-effective pan liner substitute, but it is strong enough to withstand a very heavy load of litter, which is ultimately too heavy for me, so I shovel half of the old litter into a second bag. It saves an awful lot of work trying to figure out how to get rid of old litter, especially when you live in an apartment or condo. Cleaning the oversized litter pan is much easier because old cat urine and feces residue and odor go out with the trash bag. I looked for trash bags this size and thickness without the insect repellent, which I don't need and for which I am certain I am paying a premium, but could not find any. In the end, the bag is sturdy and does the job for me. These bags will hold heavy loads, but remember: they're soft plastic so sharp objects and fingers will poke through the bag. I learned the hard way that I need to be careful how I handle the bags once they're filled with heavy, granulated matter. I just wish the manufacturer made the box containing the bags less repugnant. The box is replete with pictures of ugly insects, e.g., roaches, silverfish, etc.

above the average below 2mm bag. Insect or no insect it was priced better with better specs than non insect treated. If you find a better deal on same thickness size then tell me . As good as the entry contruction level bags with no driving no gas no journey to buy stupid bags to throw rotting debris in!

Does not repel insects!!!

These bags are great. Very large size and thick enough not to rip or puncture for most uses. They definitely have a citronella smell to them and seem to keep bugs from lurking around them. I will definitely be re ordering them in the future when i get low.

These are some of the heaviest trash bags I have ever bought. These work great in my garage and the case will last me a long time.
