10x10 Inch Pillowflex Cluster Fiber Pillow Form Insert - Made in USA - Square

I've been buying these cluster fiber pillows from this company for 8 years, and still have one yet to go flat. Great for side sleeping. This particular pillow was bought to fill a velvet zippered pillow case used as a lumbar support in my living room chair. I bought it 2" wider and 2" longer than the pillow case and it fits perfectly. I also wash these pillows in the washer on cold and dry them in the dryer on low. These pillows are a necessity for bedding pillow shams, they fill them down to the corners. If you have an odd pillow size, they'll custom make one. Absolutely perfect, a customer for life!

After extensive research based on price, quality, being washable and hypoallergenic, loftiness (fill amount AND firmness), Pillowflex has won me over for LIFE! I purchased a TRUE 12 x 24 lumbar cluster insert (as a veteran, glad made in the USA) for a Pottery Barn cover which fits absolutely perfectly, filling it completely. I also took the time and found that Pillowflex carries many options on their website and explaining the differences. When shopping on a budget, I was tempted to buy on the cheap, but the weight of the pillow is a giveaway to the loftiness and quality. The skimped ACTUAL dimensions of the less expensive options won't end up filling your cover properly and will make your cover appear cheap plus go flat within minutes! I have probably purchased 25 inserts over time at different places, lots of craft shops. Wish I could replace them all now, finding the same pricing and safe shopping here at Amazon but with so much more quality. I finally found my pillow supplier for life.

I purchased this as a filler for a decorative throw pillow cover that I was gifted. I was glad that I closely read about ordering the correct size pillow. I would have assumed that I should order the pillow the size of the sham I was filling. Following the ordering instructions, the pillow fit perfectly. My only complaint is that I wish the pillow was filled twice as full. It is very soft and not supportive. Fine if used for purely decorative pillow or for under your head on the couch but not filled firm enough to be supportive behind my back. I could stuff a second one in and probably be very happy but at this price I am not going to do that.

The pillow inserts appear to be well made. Other cluster fiber pillows I have purchased are softer and you can shake them to distribute the fill, similar to down. These cluster fiber inserts are far firmer and not soft or "squishable." On top of this, if you upsize the pillow insert as per the seller's instructions, you will have a pillow sham that is bulging and a super firm pillow, which my family members found very uncomfortable. If you like down pillows you will not like these, especially if you upsize per the seller's directions.

I can't really comment on comfort or support because it's a throw pillow. What I can comment on is weird, not well explained sizing. They tell you (AFTER you get the wrong size) that you need to order a replacement at a discounted price and tell you to watch a video that explains you need to get an insert 2 inches bigger than the sham. Now, I ordered a 14x14 pillow for a 14x14 sham. The pillow was barely 12x12. By their rational, I would need to order a 10x10 sham to fit the incorrect size insert they sent me. They don't even make them that small. So I think their sizing is screwy or their pillows are really flimsy. Either way, I think it's a bit of a scam. Keep searching for a better pillow and carefully read their sizing.

I bought these pillow "inserts" for my King shams, I liked the option that they were different sizes for shams...well these are just regular king shams and did nothing to fill the sham, it was still floppy and too much space around the top and sides. Plus the quality is terrible the pillows are not eauqlly filled through out and when I fluffed them down to one side there was about 8-10 inches of empty space....Terrible value for the price!!

We were looking for a small throw pillow, 12 x 18", for lumbar support on the couch. These were too squishy for that type of pillow. When you put them behind your back, they flattened to nothing. My sense is that this might be fine for a sleeping pillow, but not for a throw pillow if you need actual support.

I purchased this boudoir size pillow at first just to fill a sham that I wanted to coordinate my bedding with, but ended up really liking actually using it while reading or using my iPad in bed. It has a nice firmness, but a little softness that's nice. It doesn't seem to go totally flat like some of the other pillow "forms" I've tried from the sewing/craft stores in the pastWe're a feather free home and I chose this pillow because of its reviews, the cluster filling, is washable, and because it is the Made in the USA. It fills out my sham nicely and looks great with my bed. I wouldn't hesitate to order any size pillow from this company, I'm really happy with my purchase!
