I bought this with the intention of using it to convert 12 to 24 volts to power leds. However, the stated current capability is quite a large amount short of it's stated output.In it's favour it does have an accurate cut off of 4.5 amps. You may draw your own conclusions.

This converter is totally unusable!Sometimes as expected 24V output but most often 12VNo stars at all !!!
