The media could not be loaded.  This keyboard is very aesthetically pleasing; the keys have a retro look and they light up when used (there are different settings you can use). There's also a dial in the top right hand corner which enables you to adjust volume, which is very convenient.The wrist rest is slim but adds some support to anyone using the keyboard - I like that it is connected to the keyboard by magnets rather than clips. There are the usual keyboard raiser tabs underneath along the top so you can change the angle of the keys.The keys sound is more clacky, than clicky. I don't know whether it's meant to sound like a typewriter when using it for writing but that's the vibe it gives off. I quite like the retro feel, but if you are gaming you might find it off-putting, but that just depends what you are used to and prefer. For me, the fact that the keys light up as I use it just outcools the noisy keys, and I absolutely love it.There is a software download from the Empire site (a .RAR file believe it or not, so you'll need to install the free 7-Zip to open it). This just means you can set the keyboard lighting by picking it from a list rather than going through all the clicks on the dial button.Extremely reliable, positive keystrokes.

Decided to give this a go coming from a MasterKeys Pro S. The first impression is really good, the design of the keyboard is really nice and the rgb light are good quality, very similar to Corsair mechanicals. I personally like very much the aluminium frame, although I would have to preferred a heavier feeling, whereas this feels quite light. Tried it while gaming and while working on my essays, the clicky feeling of keys is nice on both scenarios and the responsiveness is also great, although they require a wee bit more pressure than most mechanical keyboards I’ve tried to go down.One note is that you sometime experience a ‘zing’ sound when quickly pressing buttons and that can be annoying for some, it’s nothing terrible but it’s definitely something that could have been taken care of.Overall for its price I think we’re talking about a very good product, that doesn’t quite match the pristine quality of other brands, but again, it costs half as much. Design is very well cured, and serves multiple purposes good.

The keyboard is fantastic and substantial. Also has a great mechanical feel if that is what you're going for. The responsiveness of the keys also far exceeds my previous expectation and the light is especially impressive at night, the colours really glow. The keys symbols are etched in, not just painted. The cord is a couple of feet long, so it gives you some room but not total mobility. I love the weight. This keyboard does not constantly slip out of reach and actually feels as if it were nailed to the desk.
