Jurassic World Massive Biters Dinosaur Action Figure, Tarbosaurus Large Dino Toy with Tail-Activated Strike & Chomping Motion

This is pretty accurate to Sacrosuchus and well articulated. It's not nearly as poseable as some figures, but it doesn't need to be. Its main function is a tail controlled bite, with some poseability coming from the legs of the figure. This figure is decently sized at ~10-12 inches long, and does not make any kind of sound. Its pretty useful as a model as well as a figure, and its high quality at a low price. It's also fun for kids to play with or artists to use as a drawing model/reference (and believe me- I collect these as drawing models and for fun.)

Mattel has really knocked the ball out of the park with their 2020 lineup debut, and this Tarbosaurus is certainly no exception. Collectors will enjoy the sculpt and paint detail put into this figure- it's very well done (despite Mattel neglecting the claws, as usual) and the posing is standard: you can move the arms, legs, and use the Action Attack feature to swing the head from left to right and open/close the jaw. I like this feature as it really brings the toy to life and allows it to be "seen" and not heard. It's definitely a must have for the Carnivore admirers out there, like myself! Kids will also get a great deal of fun from this toy too. It can battle and pick up other, smaller dinosaurs in its mouth- the toy is fairly sturdy, but overuse/misuse may have the spring in the jaw snap off, so it is a possibility as with most of the JW line. The $20 Price tag is very fair for what you get, but be careful not to overpay with these scummy 3rd party sellers who will charge upwards of $50! The item just released in Jan, so it may take some time for Amazon to get a full stock. Overall, it's an excellent addition to the JW collection and the Tarbosaurus comes highly recommended.

I like this one. The bite “grip” is solid even though it doesn’t feel like it is. The detail here is also quite good - very nice mold. Our kids like it and want to play with it. Feels very sturdy, like most of the Jurassic world toy lineup - feels like quality. While I feel like the button for the biting action is not as easy to use as some of the other ones that do the same type of action, it is fine. Maybe if it was slightly larger, or they could have made it a little more sensitive it would have been better so that it could clamp even better it would have been super cool, but it’s fine as is (maybe it is more difficult because the mouth is so long?). The only real negative I have is a big one though. The side to side and the turning action for the neck and head is very meh. It is not good at all and only does it a little. We looked forward to this because that action seemed really cool as it would truly mimic a sarcosuchus. This doesn’t do that well so you can’t really do it very elaborately. Even with the neck/head action being sub par, we do like this toy. It looks really neat and is very durable so it seems like it will last a long time. Nice toy that could have been great though. I’d still buy it, but temper expectations a little and you will have fun with it.
