Size was too small, and had very short legs and long bottom
First the good news: delivery was prompt, material quality was OK, and I don't know how they can make and sell these so cheaply (£2.99 inc. delivery) and still make a profit. But they were far too small and I don't think they were designed for a European man. I'm a 32" waist so ordered medium: arguably I should have checked the size chart which say label 'Medium' corresponds to UK size small and waist size 27-32" and so gone with label 'Large' corresponding to UK size medium and waist 31-35" (yes, their waist size chart overlaps). Even so, their size Medium was too small and tight for me to pull fully on, and had inside leg of only 24" thus ending half way to my knee. Yet they have a long distance from waist to crotch, so you would need to pull them up nearly to your navel to get them to fit round your bottom. In contrast, I recently bought some size medium long johns from a different supplier, English made, and they are a perfect fit with inside leg 29". At least at £2.99 not much was ventured.

Virtually useless!
I already own 5 Heatwave long-sleeved thermal t-shirts and I can highly recommend them. However, these are a different matter . Basically the legs are far too short and narrow, so although waist fit is okay, the bottom of the leg section is nowhere near my ankle and halfway up my calf where it is uncomfortable as too narrow for my calf muscles.
