These LITTLE dash speakers come with BIG sound! I installed them today and they sound amazing. Crisp, clear, and so much louder than the junky stock speakers I replaced. I had myself a nice little dance party in the drive way this evening after cranking them up, lol. Kenwood is a quality brand without the big name price. If you are looking for nice sound without breaking the bank then Kenwood is where it's at. I have now replaced all 6 speakers in my car with Kenwoods for less than 200 bucks. I now have much better quality sound compared to the stock sound system - higher highs, deeper lows. It's not the best speaker on the market, but they are good and a great value in my opinion.

I purchased these to replace the dash and soundbar speakers in my Jeep Gladiator. The factory speakers lacked highs and sounded muddy. These speakers sound much better, even just running off of head unit power. Installation was extremely easy and the speakers fit the factory locations and mounting points perfectly with no modification. It took me under half an hour to install all four.

I installed these speakers in the dash of my 2020 Dodge Charger WB with the 6-speaker Alpine system. The stock Alpine 3.5" dash speakers lacked crisp high tones because they don't have tweeters. These speakers paired well with the door and rear Alpine stock speakers, and greatly improves the sound. I've tried Infinity (REF-3032cfx), JBL (Club 322f) and stock Dodge Harmon Kardon dash speakers before the Kenwood's, but the Kenwood's are the best match. The Infinity and JBL's were too sensitive (and a bit tinny) and overpowered the other Alpine speakers. The Harmon Kardon's sounded terrible, much worse than the stock Alpine 3.5" speaker they were replacing. Based on the specs of the Kenwood's (the stock Alpine speakers are 2 Ohm but these are 4 ohm) I wouldn't have thought that they would match the Alpine system so well, but somehow they do. Of note, if you install these speakers in a Dodge 6-speaker Alpine system don't use the included bass blockers because it is not needed due to the factory crossover. If you do add the bass blocker it may cause the speakers to pop on startup.

Ordered the quick connect cables for less than $10 aind installed these in my dash in about 15 minutes. Sound went from flat to nice and crisp. Buddy of mine spent like $1200 for alpine system and still doesnt like his sound. I wasnt going anywhere near that amount to be regretting it. This is money well spent if you like music and im not regretting this purchase at all I have not cranked up the volume as these are 4ohms not 8. I do not want to ruin the dash radio unit.

Did not realize until installing these in my 2018 Jeep JLU with Alpine system what I had been missing in tone range. I replaced the speakers in the dash and those located in the soundbar. Easy installation using the Metra 72-7902 wire connectors (a total of 2 sets) were used for this installation. First off, I noticed a vast improvement in the treble range that was totally missing with the OEM speakers. Secondly, the sound stage is more noticeable, with front and rear standing out more. For the price, this is one improvement that got noticed immediately. Highly recommend this speaker upgrade for a Jeep JL series.

Much better sound, install wasn't fun in 100 degree sunny weather. Worth it? yes. Do it again? Probably not in summer, maybe in Fall/Winter. Just about anyone can do the install, watch some youtubes, take your time, use wire/connector adapters and you will be rewarded with much improved sound. 80% to 90% of the 9 speaker Alpine system with subwoofer (I had a Charger with that system), just not as much bass, but better treble. Don't be shy using the fade/balance and equalizer to get what sounds right to you. No clearance issues what so ever, triangle on tweeter faces toward listener and connectors need to be bent towards the magnet for mounting holes to align well.
