The New Testament Made Easier Part 2 Revised Edition (Gospel Studies (Cedar Fort))

This is part 2 of the 2-book set. Part 1 covers the four gospels while part 2 covers the rest of the bible. You can actually read it as the bible because it is the bible but with clarification and JST verses right with the scripture. Framing the events and customs of the times helped me, as a visual learner, to imagine what it was like to live in a time long past. I own both books and they've helped me a great deal to understand word meanings and use of terms that have changed over the millennia. I take it with me to Family Home Evening as we study "Come Follow Me," because when questions arise about certain verses, this book helps us all to understand what is being conveyed.

This is an amazing study guide to use not only for interpretation of more difficult to understand passages, but it is a treasure tove to increase understanding for studying using the topical method. It has increased my love for the scriptures and my understanding of them, taking into consideration culture at the time these scriptures were written.

David Ridges makes difficult concepts much easier to understand. The mysteries of the Word are made clear to the reader.

It simplifies scriptures and made revelation more understandable.Recommend that everyone who reads it will know him and come unto Him(Christ). So they may find joy and that missing piece they been longing for from the Chaos of our uncertain world.

This is a great help to anyone who would better like to understand the Bible. Gives and outline of what's taking place in history at each book and explains some of the terms and lingo used in the wording!

I determined to gain a deeper appreciation of the New Testament this year, and with the help of the insights in this study aid, I am doing so.

If you have trouble reading and understanding the New or Old Testament this is a must read. It is not a conversion book it just gets into the nuts and bolt of the Bible and gives you a better understanding of why we are here and why the Jews kept this Holy Script. Give the Old Testament a try even if you just preview it. Well worth the read if you believe in Christ and that we have a reason for being here.

This book added greatly to my studying this year of the New Testament. I enjoyed reading this book as I studied the Scriptures.
