The battery works great, and was still 65% full when installed. The tools were a great addition, especially the thin metal pry bar.Helpful info to getting the glass off:Once you can get the metal pry bar under the back glass, use a playing card to get under and 'cut' the glue. It's less ridged than the metal pry bar and flexible enough to go under the curved glass yet tough enough to break the glue.A heatgun is your best friend in getting the back glass off, don't even try without one.The suction cup was difficult to work with and I would recommend using a bigger one and/or replacing the metal ring to something sturdier.

Although I did crack the back of my phone (easily replaced for $10 on ebay) when attempting to remove it, the fact I was able to replace my battery saved me a ton of money in having to buy a new phone. The Note 5 is still a really good and reliable phone.

I bought this battery on July 20, 2024 and today, November 5, 2024 the battery is dead. It gave no warning, just realized that in the last two days my phone battery has not been holding the charge as it should.

There is no manufacture date on the battery so I have no idea how old it is but so far I'm not having any problems.Battery claims to be 4500mAh but it is actually a 3000mAh battery. At first I thought this was just a problem with Android battery reporting software not being able to display anything but the default OEM battery size for the phone, but charging software also estimates to the batter to be 3000mAh. with 98% battery life left.

Battery Life? What does that mean? So far it is perfect. With only 7 days of use... I can only say this battery works very well. I have used it twice from 100% to then make it dead to 1% life remaining. The "charge" seems to last very well, and as expected. I am done using this battery for testing only. I must wait to see if this battery holds up during regular use and during the next year. However, this old Note5 phone is not being used daily, it is not in-service. I only desired to get the old "bloated" battery out and a new one installed, and maybe to test my abilities of being able to replace this battery? Might sell this old phone or keep it for misc family use? So far, -a very good battery.

Battery fits well in the phone. Was easy to swap the old one out. It holds charge as expected.

So I have no idea why this is rated so higher. My battery was completely dead. It didn’t even work! On top of that, this is very bad quality. The battery itself is smaller than the battery compartment. What is that?!?

My old Galaxy Note 5 was charging extremely slow and the charge will only hold for a couple of hours so it would randomly die in the middle of the day. Nothing else was wrong with the phone so instead of spending another $1K on a new one I decided to give this battery replacement a try. I tried to install it myself with the tools provided however it's a lot harder than it looks and I almost cracked the back cover. Instead, I took it to a local phone repair shop and they replaced it for me for only $50 (labor) which is a fraction of the cost of a new phone. My phone just got its life back, perhaps for another 3-5 years if I don't drop it in the toilet! I highly recommend this battery and an expert to install it. Great value for the money.
