Excellent lamp
I bought this lamp in order to help me paint miniature figures for wargaming. I had read several reviews for several different lamps, but the reviews for this one were quite good, and it was not too pricey. Yes it is close to one hundred pounds, but if the lamp lasts as long as it should, it represents excellent value for money. I am slightly older now than when I last did painting, and I wanted to get into it to such an extent that I could start submitting projects for competitions. I have used it in the last fortnight and have not been disappointed. It gives excellent coverage of the model and there are several light settings, so if the light is a bit on the bright side, you can turn it down. Using the light I can pick out some fine detail without the need to resort to a magnifying glass. It is easy to set up and very stable. I do not have a dedicated room for my modelling, so I end up working on the dining room table a lot. Once clamped in place, it is very stable and easy to control in terms of how close you can put it to the model. You can also fully extend the top part of the arm without the lamp coming out of the clamp due to the altered weight distribution. The only thing that I would point out is that the lamp cannot rotate 360 degrees and it can be a little awkward to move it around until you are use to it. There is a pivot guard just above the light that can get in the way of it's movement sometimes. This is only a very minor issue and once you get used to dealing with that, it becomes easier. Because it is so minor, I have kept this to a 5 star review. If, like me, you are someone who is coming back to a hobby due to staying indoors and need some light to help you, then I recommend this light.

Fantastic hobby light!
I've bought a few different light brands in the past to help me illuminate my painting area for painting Warhammer minis but each had their own issues. Looking online, the most commonly recommended light was the Neatfi XL but I was a little hesitant with spending so much. I wish I'd done it earlier, I'd have actually saved money in the long run from buying cheaper lights hoping to achieve the same result. The light is fantastic, the size of the light covers my painting area easily and thanks to the adjustable brightness, I can make sure I have the right amount of light for what I need. The manoeuvrability is also great; I can easily shift the light to where I need it. For example, I can move it to the side and swivel the head to ensure I find light up my minis for when I'm airbrushing (using an old Amazon delivery box as a airbrush box). I bought the non-CCT version (can't change the colour temperature) as I only need a daytime white light for painting. I would recommend this easily.

GREAT WORKSHOP TASK LIGHTS.
I have now bought four of these task lights!! I am very happy with their performance ! I use them every day in my workshop. The LED light is great to work with and you can have four light levels! Multi position counter lever arm, large lamp head, eye care facility, not too bright. About 6000 Kelvin daylight, warm, 20 watt LED , 50,000 hours use. Memory light settings, they may seem expensive but for serious workshop use why not, you must be able to have a excellent light source. Then you can work well and not have to worry about eye strain? I am more than happy with my task lights!! The magnifying lens lamp is great, I have tried a few other task lamps but I was disappointed? Try them?

Great quality, good reach.
I use this lamp on my artist table and the neutral light works perfectly. It’s very sturdy and has a good reach. The only slight criticism I have is that I’d have liked the joint at the lamp head to be a proper ball and socket, making the head fully rotational, allowing a full 90 degrees rotation from the arm. Otherwise, a great piece of kit. 👍🏻

Just purchased a second Neatfi desk lamp
Updated 1st Purchase As desk work light to go in wife's sewing room. Clamped to desk, positioned over sewing machine, the light is a good length at around 20" and giving a good white light that I'd guess isn't too far from daylight (5500K) which for this type of work or anything that involves colour is vital. Many similar lamps will give off a much 'warmer' colour light which means you wont see the true colour of the things you are working with. The human eye is designed to see 'true colour' in natural daylight which is around 5500K. The light output is excellent giving a bright defused light on the work area, the lamp is height adjustable over a good range so you wont be banging your head into this lamp. When we were ordering my wife was a bit "£95 for a desk lamp!!!" but now it's installed is very pleased. Classic example of getting what you pay for. Negative points lamp offers a range of output levels by multiple presses of the on/off switch, can't see this being much use suspect for most it will either be on at max light output of off but a minor point. Would I buy this again? YES in fact I have my eye on an illuminated magnifying lens version of this lamp from the same company for my desk! 2nd Purchase Finally decided to go with the regular desk lamp rather then the unit with the magnifying lamp as I'd only use the magnifying lens occasionally but its got a slightly lower light output of 1600 lm against the regular desk lamps output of 2200lm. So having purchased two I'll leave you decide if that's a recommendation???
