Be sure you have a very small philips screwdrived
This product is so good, we will be purchasing more surface pro's in order to use it. I was concerned at the fragility of the surface pro given its weight and price, but this case takes care of that. Just be sure you have a very small, eyeglasses small, screwdriver for the keyboard adapter. Also, if you are adding a memory card, do so BEFORE you put this together. It does not come apart easily and I would not advise multiple takedowns. All in all, it is a good product that is ventilated enough that my Pro does not overheat. The stand does not go out quite as far as the actual pro stand, but it is enough for most applications. the hand sleeve at the back works well, but the devices are heavy and so this does not work for long use. I use the carry handle a lot more than I thought I would. The stylus holder is pretty tight, so it can be a little annoying to use. Overall a great product. I would recommend it to anyone who will be taking this on the road a lot.

great option for a durable type cover compatible case
i love this case, it's made really well. cut outs are accurate, type cover works how it should, it's as easy to remove/attach the keyboard with the case. the pen holder is tight and secure although the tether wasn't made for my surface pen i believe it was made for the mobile demand stylus with the pen clip. you cannot access the sim card with the case on which i knew before i bought it, but that might matter for some, the metal easel with rubber coating stands up like a laptop would but doesn't have the full range like the built into the surface. i added my own screen protector; there is not one built it; in case your viewing the photos,

Sturdy but don’t plan on removing it from the surface
So the case is great and thinking of deploying it for future company purchases. One drop back, which others have said, is that it’s not meant to be removed regularly. Just removing it once to put a screen protecting on was pretty hard and I tore the rubber a little. But overall seems great. I did notice rubber flakes on the surface when I removed it indicating the rubber may melt to the surface if left in the sun for too long.

Bad stand
Very heavy and to stand up it has to be adjusted to where you think you are going to break the stand.

Sturdy case!
So this was a little pricey, but I thought I'll spend the money to protect my surface pro, since my grip wasn't good after surgery. This case is heavy duty and made my surface pro look and feel tough! Make sure you follow the directions, especially when stretching the silicone rubber over, so you don't outstretch it. ***MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN EYE GLASS SCREW DRIVER TO UNSCREW THE KEYBOARD AND PLACE THE ADAPTER*** The directions weren't that easy to follow, and it doesn't really explain how to unscrew the keyboard adapter piece, so your keyboard snaps in. The only downfall would be the eyeglass screw and the charging cable. Once you have it on, you have to really maneuver the power cord into the slot. Many times it feels like it clicks in, but it's the magnet that does, and it's not charging.

Worst case I ever had! cheaply built with Defective Stand
Ok, where do I start? first off this was the most expensive case on Amazon at the time of my purchase. I only went with this case over a few other cheap cases (they were around $65) because this one had a Stand. The other I was thinking about getting did not have a stand. The Good: *The Case is Sturdy and is built about the same as a $40 case. *Allows you to use your surface pro key board. ( with extra attachement $$$) "for a moment" The Bad: * The stand is made very cheap, quit closing after 3 days of use. Basically I had to keep the stand open all the time as you could see in the pictures. Yes they did replace it for my but only to fell again and strip out the little bolt holes too. * too expensive * Surface pro keyboard does not close! with out the case it using magnetism to keep it closed. But instead they use little rubber bands to keep it shut. They don't work either! to top it off one broke the very first day of use!. * Its heavy! * Accessories' are expensive * USB flash drives do not fit in it after installation. * you have to remove the case in order to utilize the SD card slot. (Paying in the Butt)! Over view: Yes it protects the case but way too expensive, when other brands do the same thing for 3 times cheaper! I am very disappointed in this case after paying $140 a case with cheaply buil accessories.

Surface Pro Case that can crush competitor's offerings
This case is a monster. It's worth the price over the 35-50 range cases if it suits your needs. Almost all the features are removable with a screw driver. Back grip can easily come off as it's held in by tension. You can add a shoulder strap. You can swap in the closed port for a keyboard or keep that closed in, again with a screw driver. I didn't like the method of retention for keyboard cover so I used an elastic strap. All the ports are covered and while it makes it a little unwieldy it access it offers a level of protection that other cases simply don't have. The kickstand is functional with or without the rear hand grip. When drawing I have no problems with stability. This case is a little heavy but some of the 35-50 range cases were near this weight without offering this level of protection. This case is very easy to handle with the rear strap and large bumpers. Cons: It's a bit difficult to the surface pro in, take your time! I had to rework some of the rubber around the inside after installation. Your surface pro is meant to stay inside this case. It's more like a semi permanent solution rather than a case you can simply remove.

Tight fit
I like it I really think my surface pro will not Crack like my last one. My only complaint, at the bottom the rubber fits improperly its wavy and I hate to admit because its such a nice product it interferes with magnetic connections on the face of the screen for a keyboard. This is not a con but it is hard to get on but not an issue just an observation great product.
