When I first used this, I thought it was very flimsy, and I considered trying to return it. I just used it again on my 45lb dog and realized the handle slides apart. The brush was much more effective this way, and I got a ton of fur off my dog! He has a double coat, and this brush got a bunch of the undercoat to come off. Definitely recommend

I waited until I have used this deshedding tool many times now. It works great, so far its still in perfect shape. It can be used in loop position or slide apart the handle and have a long flexible tool. I originally was worried about the metal teeth which it has on both edges smaller side and larger size teeth but I have no issues with it hurting my dogs skin . But I will say be mindful to not comb them too heavy handed because it is metal and besides grooming should be pleasant for our pets 😉 I will say use caution if you have a older dog senior dog that has looser skin 1 of my dogs is senior and has looser skin in some areas in those areas I just place my hand in a position to help hold his skin a little and I do use a much lighter hand when grooming him, my other dog she is almost 2 years old and no loose skin and she has much more dense coat short coat but dense she is a pitbull I think she is fullblooded but she possibly could be mixed with another breed even though she looks just like a pitbull and she is the biggest baby ever and sweetest, most loving dog I have ever had, I heard all the bad rumors about her breed but she is none of that even after some terrible humans abused ,neglected, starved her. Anyway sorry about that, she was shedding soooo much I couldn't believe where and how all that extra fur was coming from lol 😆 but this deshedding tool has been a game changer and now as long as I take her outside in yard once a week and spend about 10 minutes maybe less since I do it weekly there is NOWHERE near the hair in my house, floors, furniture. And I have 2 dogs both weighing 60 plus pounds each and 2 cats one of which is fluffy long hair kitty, the other is a medium-short haired kitty and yes I do use this on my cats too and it works well but they still prefere their other brush picky kitties. Obviously I still have some animal hair but nothing like I was battling beforehand. Not to mention the price of this ,it was cheap and it works very well. My only regret is not finding this deshedding tool a lot sooner I think my vacuum is much happier now too

I’ve tried MANY different types of dog brushes, especially ones specifically designed for de-shedding, and I can honestly say that the BOTH WINNERS Dual-Sided Shedding Blade is the best one I’ve used so far. I got a chance to try this out on my horse during evening chores. The teeth are a longer length, which I really like. However, when it is in use it is flimsy and prevents you from keeping any leverage on it. It lessens the surface area you are able to use since it does not stay in contact nicely with the horses body. I don't use these "unfolded" so I can only speak to their use in their curved form. The handle is nice as well as the overall design but the metal needs to be sturdier.

I’ve got Taz, a pit mix with short, fine fur that clings to everything like it pays rent. No other brush has ever worked—most just skim his coat while he sheds like it’s his full-time job. But THIS tool? This thing pulled off enough hair to create a second Taz with a side hustle. I was genuinely speechless. And then there’s Cleatus, my fiancé’s long-haired corgi mix. Total opposite vibe—calm, collected, could probably pay taxes if we asked him to. His coat is a fuzzy tumbleweed waiting to happen. This blade handled him like a pro, too. Smooth, easy, no fuss. Cleatus didn’t flinch. I don’t think he even noticed—just kept vibing while I groomed half a blanket off him. Dual-sided = genius. The grip is comfy, the blade is serious business, and my floors are no longer a fur-coated danger zone. If your dogs range from sleek shedding machines to chilled-out fluff dispensers, do yourself a favor—get this brush. Taz and Cleatus approve, and so does my lint roller.

This pulls SO much hair off of my dogs. I have a Collie and a Husky/pit mix. Both different coats and it works great on both.
