Dries clothes, but service issues.
Dries all sorts of clothes, but Miele repair service and customer service are diabolical. The machine started knocking and clicking after 8 months use.I am now informed this is a design fault where the yolk that holds the brushes when they wear hits something protruding from the drum. This is common with T models. Takes about 10 mins to repair and costs about £50 for the parts.Booking a service engineer seemed straight forward under warranty but they never turned up. I called Miele customer service who told me to contact their third party. They had no record of the booking. I then recalled Miele who then contacted another subcontractor to repair the machine. They never turned up. So I used a local repair service and stuff their warranty where the sun don't shine. The warranty is not fit for purpose, so I shall not be purchasing any other appliances from this company.

Arrived completely damaged
I was very excited about my tumble dryer unfortunately as soon as I took off the wrapping my heart sank. It was cracked. The entire top section of the tumble dryer was cracked exposing the wood underneath. Unfortunately, the top is also not attached and really the electric's at the front were the only thing keeping the machine together. Very disappointing. I am waiting for them to collect it now and debating on getting a replacement from Amazon or from someone with a little bit more care on the delivery front.

Balls
Beautiful looking machine but it balls up the laundry despite following Miele’s use instructions.

It dries clothes
A few years ago I bought a Bosch heat pump condenser dryer, top of the range at the time, with enthusiastic reviews in Which and everywhere else. I was very disappointed. Clothes always seemed to come out damp and to need another half hour or longer of tumbling. When the door catch broke off, after the manufacturer's guarantee had expired, and it turned out that the catch couldn't be replaced by itself and the entire door had to be replaced at a cost of nearly £200, I decided never to buy a Bosch again. I've given it away, having now acquired the Miele TSF643 which is a far, far better machine. It tumbles in both directions, making it less likely that a sheet or duvet cover will ball up. It has a light in the drum (like my Bosch) but doesn't connect to the internet which was a feature on my Bosch that I never needed or used. The Miele uses a higher wattage but it claims to be highly energy efficient and it definitely dries clothes faster than my old Bosch and makes them as dry as you like first time round. The discharge hose connects easily to the pipework under the sink. The only downside really is the high purchase cost of a Miele. Incidentally, these Miele laundry appliances are "lily white" in colour rather than the brilliant white of most other makes. Bear that in mind if it is important to you to match the colour on an existing washing machine.Footnote: the rotating drum makes a rhythmical "click", like the ticking of a clock, which I assumed was a fault. The Miele engineer explained that there is a sensor which brushes against the drum as it rotates and helps to detect the moisture level. The click is therefore unavoidable. He replaced the sensor on mine and the click was much quieter for a while and then got louder and remains that way. You'd have to decide whether you would find this a nuisance. I booked another visit by Miele technicians who said that the loud ticking is unavoidable (even though it was much quieter when I first purchased the machine). On balance, I wouldn't have purchased this dryer if I had known that it has this built-in design defect.
