Works great! I am quite pleased with it.
Let me begin by stating that I am most definitely not a coffee expert or purist. I do enjoy great coffee and espresso when I can. I depend on others to make the truly good stuff for me, and I can readily tolerate mediocre coffee as well. I was impressed with the packaging and apparent quality of this grinder. It is packed with a cleaning brush and a sturdy fabric storage bag. The grinder seems to me to be well engineered and is heavily built. It is very easy to use and quickly grinds beans to the ideal coarsenes for my morning single cup k-cup brews. I have not used it for other grinds yet, but it has an impressive range of adjustability of coarseness. I assume it will produce other grinds as well as it does my typical one. The grinder is fairly easy to clean. I've not had this long, so I can't comment thoroughly on its longevity. The build quality seems to bode well for long-term functionality though. Pros: Well built, wide range of grinds, easy to use. Cons: Not much to note here, but its capacity might be insufficient for some. It holds enough beans to produce grounds for 1 to 1.5 cups of drip brew, so multiple refills would be needed to make a multi-cup pot of coffee.

Best Handgrinder I've used
Gemini said I finally upgraded from a cheap electric blade grinder to the Chestnut C2S, and honestly, the difference in my morning coffee is night and day. The first thing you notice is the build quality. It feels really solid in your hand—the full metal body has a nice weight to it, and the textured grip makes it easy to hold onto while you’re grinding. It doesn't feel like a "budget" tool at all. As for the actual grinding, it’s surprisingly fast. I can get through about 20g of beans for a pour-over in roughly 40-45 seconds without much effort. The grind consistency is where this really shines; I'm getting much cleaner flavors now because the grounds are actually uniform. One thing to keep in mind: the 25g capacity is perfect for a single large cup of coffee. If you’re usually brewing for two people or making a big French press, you’ll definitely have to grind in two batches. Also, like most manual grinders, there's a bit of static, but a quick tap on the counter usually clears it up. If you’re looking to get into manual grinding without spending $200+, this is easily the best value for the money. Highly recommend.

Silent Precision in Steel — The Grinder That Outlasts and Outperforms
If you're tired of noisy, clunky, motorized grinders that jolt you (and everyone else) awake in the morning, the TimeMore C5 Pro is your dream come true. This grinder is a masterpiece of simplicity and engineering. From the moment you hold it, you’ll feel the difference — solid all-steel construction, a satisfying weight that screams quality, not cheap plastic. It’s built like a tank, yet elegant in design. No cords, no motors, no fuss. Just smooth, effortless grinding that won’t wake a soul. The grind consistency is phenomenal — easily the most uniform I’ve ever seen in a manual grinder. Whether you're dialing in for espresso or coarser for French press, the adjustable settings give you total control. And because it’s manual, there’s no motor to burn out, no high-decibel whirring, and no ringing in your ears afterward. Just peace, quiet, and the rich aroma of freshly ground beans. It’s also incredibly portable — perfect for travel, camping, or just moving from kitchen to patio. Honestly, this grinder will probably outlive me, and I’m not mad about it. If you value craftsmanship, silence, and precision, and you’re done with loud, short-lived appliances, this is the grinder for you. Zero regrets. 100% satisfaction.

There’s a another layer of coffee flavor
There’s another layer to coffee flavor, and a burr grinder is what brings it out. Doesn’t have to be this one, but this is a very high quality grinder. I think it only takes me about 90 seconds or so to grind it when fully filled with beans. It’s easy, and actually kind of nice to hand grind. The moment I opened the box I could see the quality of this device. And using it, the weight, and smooth operation confirms that this is a well made durable device. I’m glad I got the folding handle one, as it’s easier to store on the shelf and take with me if I do so. 10/10, highly recommend. It’s a lot of money for a grinder, but it’s well worth it in my opinion

Good grind, nice space-saving size
This is a very well-made coffee grinder. I needed something that wouldn't take up much space on the countertop and this one fit the bill. A perk of the bigger grinders is that they often have built-in bean storage, but I'd rather keep my beans in a true airtight container, so what's the point of the storage? Overall, I'm happy with it, and the manual nature of this grinder makes it part of a grounding (pun intended) morning ritual. But here are the negatives: - The method of setting the grind size is less than ideal, as you have to count the number of clicks in the rotation and there's no way of marking where you're at. So if your household switches between grind sizes or a guest goes to use it, they'll have to dial it back to the starting point and set it all over again. - You can only fit about 2 scoops of beans in at one time, so if you're making more than, like 1 cup of coffee, it's going to be a lot of work. Positives: - no BPA or other plastic parts - easy travel size, fits nicely in small kitchen - aesthetically very pleasing, both visually and tactile sense - not many moving parts and none are electric, so I envision this lasting a very long time I originally bought the black version but it was hard to brush out all the grounds sticking to the sides when I couldn't see the grounds against the black. The white version solves that problem. The first couple times I used it, I kept removing the handle top to see if all the beans were ground but there's actually no need to do that because as soon as the handle rotates smoothly with no resistance, you're done.

This is possibly the best hand grinder to get. The exterior surface is textured which offers a better grip when grinding. The build quality is not cheap and fully mettalic. The grinder comes with a pouch, cleaning brush, and the detachable top. I use the bottom collector scoop the coffee and it almost fills the top. Filling it to the max holds about 18g of beans. The grind have many sizes and they are clearly labeled for what type of coffee you want to prepare. The cost is great and the device is very robust. Grinding is very simple and you will feel the difference when you fully ground the coffee vs if there is more left to grind. Cleaning is also simple you can wash the collector. Use the brush to clear the bottom of the grinder and dump anything from the top. Highly recommend if you have the patuence to grind daily for the best coffee

ステンレスフィルター用に購入しました。 安い電動ミルでは調節出来ず、店で挽いて貰ってましたが、このミルで手軽に適度な挽き具合が得られて大満足です。

The quality of this product is top notch. This is my 3rd manual grinder. It is way more expensive but it’s all worth every penny. Smooth grinding and it is effortless than my old cheaper ones. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using the TIMEMORE Chestnut C2, and it’s an excellent manual coffee grinder. The build quality is solid, and the stainless steel burrs provide a consistent grind size. Adjusting the grind settings is easy, making it great for different brewing methods. It’s also compact and lightweight, perfect for travel. The only minor drawback is its small capacity, but overall, it’s a fantastic grinder for anyone serious about fresh coffee.
