Nice simple watch. Works well enough, it is nice that it has day of the week and date displayed on it. Backlight is bright enough to see the digits when activated but will not light up the room, (which I personally like) and shuts off quickly after releasing.The watch face is pretty big, much bigger than I was expecting. I didn't look at the dimensions before ordering so that is my own fault, but is something that I would encourage you to look at before ordering.

The bezel around the face was not necessary and made the watch very large. The display is quite dim, but is readable even in direct sun light. Other than that, I like the watch a lot. I do have a complaint about the instructions that came with the watch. The print was way too small and difficult to read. The sheet should be enlarged. Also the translation to English on the instructions made them difficult to comprehend. They were accurate but should have been massaged by someone that was native English speaking. Still, have to give the watch four stars. The price/performance is execellent.

The watch has a large compass/spinner thing on the top that sort of serves no purpose and is made from cheap plastic. The watch is kind of over-sized to the point of being too large - even for a man (and I'm 5 foot 11 and pretty beefy). The whole watch is also kind of cheaply-made (but hey.. it's a cheap price so that figures). It's got kind of a silicone-plastic wristband and the only reason it does the job (i.e. doesn't break on either end) is that the whole thing is over-sized - including the band and the metal bars adjoining the band to the face. The light up feature does work so there's that.

This is a seriously flawed product: hard to read in both daytime and night, the feeble light goes of unless you keep pumping the hard-to-find side button, the numerals are too clumped together making for reading mistakes, the strap is hard to insert into the loop, complex to set the alarm...one that is barely audible, instructions need a powerful magnifying glass. I would return it but not worth the hassle. I threw it in the trash, so much I hated it. Crap...in no way is it as luminous and clear as the picture presented, a total fabrication.

Picked this watch up today. Like many say, it's not the brightest display, but it is readable under moderate light conditions. There was no manual - and I couldn't find one online - so I had to futz about with it a bit to get it set. Once I did, it seemed to be fine.One point - the display photos here (not from customers but from Amazon) suggest that there is a slight dome-ish roundness to the "crystal", and that the display is bright. Neither is the case but that doesn't distract from the fact that, for $13, you're getting what you pay for.I did find a comprehensive video review with some instructions online at "a popular video site" (which Amazon doesn't allow links to) but it would still be nice to find user instructions somewhere. They're not on SKMEI's web page - I looked.

It is a VERY large face. The display is VERY dark. With the backlight on, which only stays on about 2 seconds, it is very dim. It is nowhere near as bright as the picture. It is very uncomfortable to wear because of the size and I have a fairly large wrist. The directions need to have better English. I deciphered it, but some people will not be able to.I gave it 2 stars because it showed up unbroken. And it seems to keep time for now. I will take the wristband off and use it at the gym as a way to keep track of my time for those exercises that require it. I don't know how well that will go as the face of the watch is so dark as to make it practically unreadable.

The watch works just fine, but unfortunately is uncomfortably large on me. I agree with other posters that it is pretty dim, even when lit, so in bright sunlight it is hard to see, but that doesn't matter to me that much. The issue I have with the watch is just that the face of the watch is HUGE. It makes the display very nice looking, but it is wide and uncomfortable, and heavy on my wrists. If you are a man with wrists in the narrow side, you may need a different watch. (it's funny, I'm a rock climber, so my forearms are big, but my wrists are still narrow). I bought this because I wanted a watch that was both fashionable and minimalist, but I could also use for sporty endeavors, but unfortunately it doesn't work for either because it it uncomfortable on me. I realize that it not fitting me isn't a real flaw, which is why I'm still giving it 4 stars.

Nice watch after using 1month

very good watch at this low price.Looks like Casio G-shock watches...super build quality.nice and sporty looking.Got it within 3 days after placing my order....fast delivery...overall a five star product....

After using 12 days in water this is unbreakable awesome

I've only had this watch a couple of days,but wow,what a watch for under £20!.It looks great in the flesh,and totally belies its price.The watch seems well made,and has a nice,weighty feel to it,as you'd get with more expensive pieces.The only tinge of sceptisism I still have,is the movement.So far,the watch has kept perfect time ( with both the digital and analogue movements).Time (no pun intended!) will probably be the judge of this watch,as I've found with cheap mobile phones,they can look good,and feel good,and they might work flawlessly when new,but their "working parts" don't always last that long.I'll update this review,if I have any problems with the watch,but for now at least,it's a big FIVE Stars from me and,I know,you might be thinking "is this review real!".Well,message me if you like,I'm a bona fide customer.P.S.,I would have thought twice about ordering one of these watches form an Oriental based seller,even at such a low price.But mine was an order "fullfilled by Amazon",so I have no doubt that any return can be made to a U.K. warehouse (I've been able to do so with other such items).

Great watch for the money. Looks good keeps perfect time, alarm and hourly chime if you need them. Night light really good. Took about 5 mins of playing around to work out how to set it. Now can set alarm in seconds so just mess around with buttons and you'll soon figure it out. All in all a really good buy.
