CasioWith the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward. Introducing Triple Sensor Version 3, advanced CASIO original technology that makes it possible to pack sensors that are 95% smaller than those of previous models into a totally new type of compact PRO TREK. Despite their smaller size, the new sensors in these models deliver higher reading accuracy and improved energy efficiency. This Triple Sensor model delivers altitude, barometric pressure, and direction readings that are more accurate than previous models. A Barometric Pressure Tendency Alarm alerts the wearer to sudden changes in pressure readings. Design features include a compact case and titanium band that is both light weight and durable. Large side buttons and one-press access to digital compass, barometric pressure and altitude, and temperature readings keep important information at your fingertips. Other features include MULTIBAND 6, Tough Solar, 100-meter water resistance, and more. Everything about this model is designed and engineered to make it an essential piece of outdoor gear.

Solar Tri-sensor Tungsten awesomeness
I love this watch. Compass + Altimeter/Barometer + Thermometer 3rd gen sensors plus auto sync with atomic clock radio broadcast, bright backlight, multiple time zones, multiple alarms, weather alerts, altitude tracking, timer, stopwatch, sunrise/sunset, waterproof, mineral crystal, sturdy light tungsten band, AND solar charging - never needs batteries. I'm sure I'm forgetting some features -- this is the coolest, and most functions are pretty easy to useAlready had a 5 year-old Suunto with similar features, but it is much bigger, thicker, and needs a new battery every few months. Didn't want a "smart" watch connected to my phone and needing constant recharging. Newer Suunto multi sensor watches are much improved, smaller than before, but still thicker than this 3000T, not so waterproof, and still need batteries.Tissot has closest rival with tri-sensor solar, and admittedly a much nicer case and band and cool analog hands with digital below. Touch sensitive glass is nifty. But more than double the cost, larger / thicker, and not quite as feature rich took me back to Casio.Only wishes to reach be my ultimate wrist warrior is a slimmer profile (a 2nd gen model was nearly 2mm thinner) and alarms that can be set for weekdays or w

Extremely durable
If you're looking for durability, this is an excellent watch, and will probably meet your needs. I bought this watch to replace a Casio Pathfinder PAW-1300T, which worked perfectly for years (in spite of the extreme abuse it received) until it got crushed in a tailgate. This is basically the same as the same watch, but with updated electronics. The titanium band is nice, since its lighter than an equivalently sized steel band. The band's pins are normal watch pins, meaning that they will probably be the failure point of the band. The main housing of the watch face itself is plastic, and mine is already starting to wear through the paint on the perimeter ring. Happily, I did not buy this watch for its looks, so that's not a concern for me.

Nice lite (due to titanium) watch
Nice lite (due to titanium) watch. Atomic time adjustment works as well as my other G-shock. Feature/function is what I expected. A few nits, however, lowered my rating:- Gun metal gray bezel scratches very easy. I don't expect this watch to look like 'new' in a year.- No sapphire crystal; fortunately the glass is recessed so shouldn't be exposed.- Temperature is useless unless it's off your wrist. It really is measuring an inaccurate wrist temperature - you have to removed the watch from your wrist to get an accurate ambient temp (to Casio's defense this is noted in the manual)Otherwise a dressier version of the G-shock watches...

Great watch. The only thing I really wish it ...
Great watch. The only thing I really wish it had was the steel bezel and sapphire crystal from the prw-s3000. I will probably end up buying one of those too and swapping the titanium bracelet from this over. Just so people know, the titanium scratches very easily, but that is just the nature of titanium. For a hard use watch like this I expect it to get some character marks.

Casio Men's PRW-3000T-7DR Pro Trek
The watch keeps excellent time and has a lot of features. I get a lot of complements about the watch. Only issue I have is that the watch has a hard time synch with the atomic clock and the weather has to be perfect to pick up the signal.

Excellent watch.
I noticed the watch for more than a year and I really want to have it. Now it's on my hand and it's really good.

Although I love my PAW-2000T
I am a big fan of the Casio atomic solar watches. I have or have owned the MTG900, the PAW-2000T, PRW-2500-1, and now the PRW-3000T. Although I love my PAW-2000T, of these watches I feel the PRW-3000T to provide the best combination of a sports style watch and watch with a professional/dress like appearance. It is a little less bulky than the PAW-2000T with a great silver look. If you are looking for a time piece with great appearance and performance this watch should be on your list.
