I got this for a treasure chest I have in my garden that I hide for my neighborhood kids. When I got this to put in, they all loved the treasure and map, that they absconded with the booty! High Praise. Fun!

I picked up this map for decoration. But when I looked at it, it very much resembled the wild area at the end of the street where I grew up. I thought, It just a coincidence. But I couldn't stop thinking about it. I hadn't been in those woods for years and I've been telling myself I need more exercise so, to the woods I went. It took me about an hour to reach the 'X' and another to dig the hole. To my surprise, there was a chest there filled with gold and jewels and silver. I'm fabulously wealthy beyond my wildest dreams. 100% would buy again!

This is a child's toy that can be used as a placemat for dinner but a good novelty pirate play set

Perfect for a young childs inexpensive treasure hunt, stocking stuffer, halloween costume accessory, or little treat, but if kiddo is more serious about being piratey- get something else. I should have gotten my 9yo a more realistic set of better quality.My 3yo was much more interested and took it over. At least someone was happy!

This instantly became the prize possession of my pirate obsessed boys (ages 3, 6, and 10), who invented many new adventures with the aid of this map. The best part is that it is very durable and held up to all of the adventures beautifully.

Good size map for pretend play. The kids carried it everywhere to search for treasure. Folds or roll it up. It won't last forever, but will stand up to hours of play.
