We bought this as a gag gift for my husband's Christmas party gift exchange. He works at an Aviation Academy. The pilots thought it was funny, although I didn't understand the joke. The cup itself seemed well made, but we didn't test it out much as it was a gift. It is standard size for a coffee mug. I prefer my cups larger, personally.
