What are measurements on these glasses?

They are 5 1/4 inches wide from tip to tip and 1 3/8 inches high from the bottom of the frame to the top where the lenses are.

Why can't these be shipped to NYC area?

They don't want you to see what's really going on! I like that asnswer! TRUTH!

I Have a large head (not a joke) and have a hard time finding cheaters that don't stress the hinge area. Anyone in the same situation. Do these work?

I wear a 7 3/4" hat/cap, and these frames work well for me.

Are these for nearsighted

Well even though you are nearsighted you still might not see close things clearly. These will magnify close things like words in a book so you can see them better.
