GREAT for aggressive chewers!
This ball is definitely durable! So much so that you might want to buy a size smaller than you normally would. It has zero give and hard for my dog to pick up. I will be getting a smaller size that easily fits in her mouth. So make sure you buy a size your dog can easily get its mouth around. EXCELLENT quality and worth the money!!

Huge! But good, durable.
This thing is HUGE! I should have got the smaller size. However, my dog (50lb pitbull mix) likes it and tries to carry it around with her, but fails most of the time. It is quite durable, like all Tuffy toys, however eventually a persistent chewer, like my dog, will get through the inner stuffing. As a result, we give her something else iif she starts going at the seams.

Large sides are a weak point
Firstly, we love Tuffy Toys in our house! I purchase toys with the hope that they stick around for awhile, but not forever. I give this football a 3 in comparison to other large Tuffy Toys. The seams are as strong as ever; it took months for my labs to get through the seams. However, my girl likes to carry the football around by biting around the "body." Unfortunately the sides are not nearly as strong as the seams, and her teeth went through it easily. This exposed the stuffing more quickly than I would have liked. All Tuffy Toys seem to be packed (and I mean PACKED) with stuffing, and this football was the worst offender so far. It looked like it snowed all over my downstairs. So basically, if you have a "de-stuffer" for a dog, I recommend a Tuffy toy with more seams.

Best Tuffy Toy
With two labs and a weimeraner, our household LOVES the Tuffy brand toys. As other reviewers have stated, despite having a high "Tuffy" rating, your dog can and will destroy these toys, especially if they keep at it. However, they last much longer than other brands of stuffed toys, which to me makes it worth it. I will also agree with the reviewer who stated they have a large amount of stuffing in them....they have an INSANE amount of stuffing, which our Weim LOVES to pull out.I like this particular Tuffy toy because of its size and shape. The size and shape make it much more difficult for my dog to chew on the seams (which is how you get into the the stuffing) and chew it up. She carries this thing around like a football, and even runs on the treadmill with it. As another reviewer stated, the dog has to carry them by the sides, but we have not had a problem with her teeth puncturing through it.We finally just bought a second one, after having our first one probably for nearly a year. Only reason we got a new one is because we can't find the old one.

Disappointing
I purchased this item for my 7 month old black lab. He is not a destructive dog, but he does love to chew on his toys. He really loves any type of stuffed toy, but I stopped purchasing them for him because he always ended up picking at the material until it was just a pile of stuffing on the floor. I was excited to find a toy that was classified as tough and durable while still being a plush toy. Although I was initially hopeful when I received the toy, (it is definitely much tougher than the average plush toy) my little guy was still able to rip into it in minutes. He began to pick at the raised seam creating a hole in the material and then worked his way in. I was disappointed because although he was being supervised, he was still able to rip it up in minutes, it did not last any longer than an average plush toy. I would not recommend this toy for dogs with his chewing style.

Awesome Toy for Power Chewers
I bought the mega oddball previously and my mom allowed my dog to have it in his crate. He ate the logo off and promptly destuffed the toy. The exterior remains of the ball, however, have endured weeks of play with minimal damage, so I believe the toy would have survived fine if mom hadn't made the mistake of leaving it unsupervised with our chewer. I just purchased two more. My 3 pit bulls love them and will literally plat tug of war, not letting go, for 15 minutes at a time. They are majorly powerful, but the ball has only minimal fraying after days of play that includes vigorous shaking and tug-wrestling. I am very happy. My boys love stuffed toys, but I hate cleaning up the stuffing explosion. And on amazon, the mega oddball comes at a great price. I definately reccomend for your power chewers. I am planning on getting something with a better grip for human hands next so that I can get in on the epic tug of wars. The mega oddball is too big to get a good grip, but great for throwing.

Not very tough after all
Purchased the Tuffy Mega Ball for my 6 month old Rott. The loop was gone in less than 90 seconds and in just a few hours he had the stuffing coming out. He only had access to the toy during play sessions with me. Very unhappy. Attempted to call the number listed on the paperwork that came with the ball and had no luck getting it to ring. Went to the website and clicked contact us and was unable to see any number to call. Wasted money.

Hard for my Lab to "kill"
My lab likes to immediately destuff (kill) any toy I give her. These Tuffy toys are the only ones that last for a long period of time with her. Labs Chew, chew and chew some more. I am so happy that I found this product. For any dog that destroys his/her toys, I would highly recommend this product.

Probably "Mega tough", but bored my dog
My dog chews up everything. It's embarrassing. We learned quickly not to leave things lying about, and to invest in bones and other natural chews. She's recently discovered toys, after helping herself to a Tuffy Alien (Rated 8 on their tough scale) at the pet shop. Mr Alien did not last very long, so we looked for something with a 10 rating, and this was what we found. She just doesn't find it interesting though. She looked at it when it arrived, sniffed it and carried it about, but (according to my husband) it just wasn't an interesting shape. There was nothing she could grasp to shake it about like the alien. There was no squeaker, no legs, no face or mouth she could grasp like Mr Alien. She ignored it, and we bought her another Mr Alien. We've now been buying her the Mega toys range from VetUK, who stock the whole range, and she's working her way through those. The Mega range is certainly the way to go, but this toy isn't overly interesting for dogs which require stimulation.

Great for medium to large dogs
Becareful as the stuffing have a gritty, sand like substance inside the fluff and it can make you itchy.

I think my dog who is a golden retriever could do a stronger toy but so far has lasted better than I thought it would

Looks hard wearing, but it's larger than I imagined ...
Looks hard wearing, but it's larger than I imagined, and our adult Labrador doesn't seem keen on playing with it, he can't get his jaws around it. I can't really comment on how hard wearing it actually is.

Super résistant
J'ai un berger allemand de 2 ans très intense et c'est le seul jouet qui a résisté! Je le recommande!
