Back for its third season, Eric Hjorleifson's 4FRNT Hoji Ski returns with all the same technologies that have made it and the Renegade so wildly successful. Utilizing the Reflect Tech, reverse camber, and semi-cap construction of the Renegade, think of the Hoji as a smaller, nimbler, more touring-centric little brother. Setting the Hoji apart from its brethren, the squashed pintail easily sinks in the snow during transitions, makes for reliable skin attachments, and allows for a more forward mounting position, giving the Hoji a more centered and balanced feel. At 112mm at the waist, the Hoji is still nimble enough to slarve turns through the trees, but with Reflect Tech technology, the rocker radius and sidecut match, allowing the ski to edge smoothly and predictably. With a 30m turn radius, the Hoji lives for big lines skied fast. Reverse camber takes the drawbacks of rocker out of the equation by eliminating tip and tail hook when you're in powder and provides a platform for a powder skiing sensation unmatched by any other ski on the market, apart from the Renegade and Raven. The semi-cap construction wraps the topsheet around the sidewall, providing increased durability and longevity to the ski.
