Value for money
Great value for money, very quick delivery, not as smelly as my normal uv , does dry well IF you do thin layers at a time. Takes a lot longer when adding any colour pigment to it and if you add to much pigment especially powder it will not dry it stays sticky. Can't fault it really for the price. I will buy again if the price stays reasonable

Good UV Resin
The previous formula was pretty good, this new one is even better. It cures fast, hard and clear. Take Note:- For very best results, use a 365nm Black light/torch. A 395nm torch WILL cure the resin, but needs a lot more exposure and the results can be a little tacky. When you use a 365nm torch, the difference is night and day, the resin cures quickly and sets hard immediately. You should also be aware of two things.. If you're making something substantial, lay the resin down in layers, so that the UV light can penetrate and do its thing, secondly be aware that the curing process creates a lot of heat, so give it time to cool each time. (So much heat in fact, that I've seen it melt plastic moulds).. Bubbles. the very best way to remove bubbles is with a vacumn chamber, but if your hobby allowance doesn't stretch to that.. using a sharp needle to pop them is one method, and running a naked flame (quickly) over the resin surface is another very effective way to remove them. Used properly, this resin is both cost effective and will give you good results. :) Edit:- Well, I don't know whats happened, but something has changed with this resin. As seen above, it used to be very effective. 5-10 seconds under the U/V and it would be rock hard. But this latest batch is nothing like what I've previously bought. It hardens eventually, but needs at least 30 seconds under the lamp/torch and even then is very tacky to the touch. 2 stars removed, and I'll be looking for a new brand.

Does the job well!
Brilliant for smaller products and jewellery. Does take a while to fully cure if you’re doing a thicker layer (2mm up) - 10/15mins or so to fully hardened under a lamp. If it’s just one really thin layer it definitely does harden in about 2 mins. I really like it. The bottle will be bigger but you still get 250, it’s just that they haven’t got a smaller size bottle right now but it doesn’t affect the product at all. I’ve been using this for months for 100’s of jewellery pieces so it really does go a long way

The worst UV resin I have ever used!
This product is terrible .. sorry. The smell was absolutely awful, I used it in an outside, large & very well ventilated work room, with my respirator & it still got to me. It is genuinely awful. It cured under my 36 watt lamp in exactly the same time as other products I have used, but somehow heated the silicone moulds to the point they almost melted / sweated - I couldn’t even handle them for a good 10-15 minutes after the resin was cured in them. The consistency is lovely & it appeared very clear .. but definitely not suitable for use for this & borderline dangerous. Do yourself a favour and do not purchase this, it is an awful product.

Easy to use, good value.
Compared to 2-part epoxy resin UV resin is easy to use as long as some rules are observed. All UV resin is not really suitable for casting and deep pours will take a long time to cure, the technology was created for dental veneers and manicures where there is no requirement for deep casts. Contact with oxygen strongly inhibits curing, especially with an insufficiently strong UV(A) light source. The strength of the UV(A) light source is very important for curing this particular resin, with a cheap manicure light I observed cure times of 30+ minutes, and the surface never fully hardened unless left under the light overnight. With a powerful PCB photo etching machine the resin largely cured in 15-20 minutes and fully hardened in an hour. With direct strong sunlight, not behind glass (which blocks UV) the resin cured in 2-3 minutes and was fully hard in 10 minutes. It is ideal to be used as an ancillary to epoxy resin, having a similar refractive index, and bonding well with other resins. My uses are for using as a resin glue, 'varnishing' objects and finishing 3d prints, all 3 this resin performs well for. For surface finishing it is very good as it can be exposed to UV just after application, and before the resin has had time to run off vertical surfaces. I compared this to a much more expensive product, and found it adequate, with approximately double the hardening times, and more of a tendency to retain a sticky surface if under-exposed. Given the cost of this vs similar products, I find this acceptable. One thing that does put me off, is that this resin has been treated with an extremely strong smelling pine perfume which leaves the work area smelling like a public urinal, and may have some impact on the hardening properties.

Crystal clear
Love this, it takes a little longer under the uv but comes out crystal clear glass like, when it has set it is very hard. I will be using this from now on. I would highly recommend this, great value for money.

Yellows, shrinks and stinks
It might be good enough value for money especially if you're only experimenting with resin. However, after a while you'll notice that this resins can slightly yellow when exposed to sun and the shrinkage is the most annoying part. It never stays at the edges if you're covering something in resin. If you're using only molds then this resin will be good enough for the job. But trying to dome it won't quite work. It also has a strong smell, but then again, it's my first resin I tried. It smells the same like top coat for the nails so maybe whatever makes it UV, has just got very distinguishing smell.
