Five stars for ease of installation and seeming functionality. I just got it yesterday so I can’t speak to the battery life or how durable it is. It seems to be plenty loud on the third setting but does have a louder setting for freezers located in the garage or basement. Hopefully it keeps us from leaving our freezer open again.

This door alarm was very easy to install and works great. The initial open beep is helpful, and the 1, 2 & 3 minute alarms are loud enough to hear from another room with the door closed. If I had another refrigerator, I would buy a second one.

So far works great! I recently had a TOTAL loss of everything in a completely full deep freeze..it was HORRIBLE!! The door was barely open a crack and we even walked by it for a day and a half until we discovered it. I knew I needed something after losing hundreds of dollars of food. I read the reviews and liked the price point so I thought I would try it. The alarm is subtle at first and keeps getting louder and each minute. I can even hear it at the 3 and 4 minutes mark in the House. Which was the point since the deep freeze is in the garage. So far definitely worth it..my situation freaked by girlfriend out so much about all the loss of food that she bought one to prevent it from happening to hers. Would recommend. Just not sure how long the battery lasts

Working well so far. I followed the instructions but after mounting, it immediately stopped working and had to be removed and replaced to get it to work again. Doesn’t seem as loud as the claims. We’ll see how it goes.

I have a freezer in the garage. The kids would leave the door ajar. This has helped tremendously. I bought this 2 years ago and am coming back to do this review because I contacted support - and they were GREAT. After 2 years, the batteries died. I lost the instructions and didn't know how to change them. I contacted support - they sent instructions with a helpful picture on how to change the batteries. It is SO NICE to be able to get great support when you need it.

Full review on attached video. For those who prefer reading, here I am! Great product (so far). I love the different levels of alerts depending on need. Gentle beeps for the first minute before whipping out the big alarms thereafter. I also love that I didn't need a separate unit for each door, and can place in between both of them. Reason for purchase? Simple. I accidentally left my freezer open all night and half the next day (ugh). Fortunately, foods were still cooled, so nothing got to room temperature before I caught the blunder. Still, I can't have that happening again, so...enter this alarm. Hopefully I'll get good life out of it.

Easy install. Looks great. Works great. After loosing a couple $100 in my fridge because the door wasn’t shut properly, this is a money saver!

Great fridge alarm. My dad used to leave the door open for several minutes and the fridge temp would rise. This has solved this problem. It gives some gentle beeps every few seconds then a louder beep after a minute. Lets him know to close the door. I bought a second one for our basement freezer too.

This is a very nice door alerter. I have issues with fridges not being properly shut due to kids. They claim they close it but they slam it so hard it doesn't stay shut. For deep freezer I have it doesn't have a door alarm built in so this is a good retrofit. Takes LR44 batteries. Comes installed. Uses basically magnet based contact. Need to be close by around 1 cm to consider door closed. When the door is open. It beeps to remind you to shut the door. After some time the siren chirps a bit. Loudly. Then it gets louder and longer to remind you to shut the door. I like the volume. It's LOUD. Just what I need. My only wish would've been to use AAA batteries, not LR44 cells. It's just cheaper that way.

Great little device, a lot smaller than I expected, but does the job. I like the fact it makes a little bleep when you first open the fridge door, it's a good reminder that it is still working. It can be slightly fiddly to get the spacing correct at first, but once setup, it works well. Much better than other solutions I've tried.
