We tried updating the app and connecting the thermometer with the phone via Bluetooth but that didn't fix the problem.These are the are the pros we felt Frida Baby has over Kinsa:1. We don't have to worry that we might insert the thermometer too much.2. The thermometer just works. There is no nonsense of needing to sync with the App or anything like that.3. It's almost as quick as Kinsa.4. The thermometer doesn't show the temperature until it's done reading it accurately. This is, believe it or not, better than Kinsa that showed the temperature as it rises. Because when the baby moves (which it always does), you are not left guessing if the temp displayed is the correct value or not.Overall, I realize now that we just needed a simple and quick thermometer, and the whole app synching and tracking of temperatures stored in some cloud storage is not necessary or beneficial.Buy this one. It's cheaper yet more effective.
